Purity - Dealing with oily, moist, sticky, wet, soapy cocaine

Ok, anyone ever come accross anything that becomes like freakin glue? SWIM got a batch that just become glue up in the nose, and sits there, until it's blown back out and then comes back in clumps. Nasty. SWIM contacted dealer about it and he's supposed to make good, but SWIM wonders what cut would make it like that? This has to be the worst ever.

Trust me... Swim has chopped, and chopped, and chopped until it's as fine as one can get this junk... might I add that it actually sticks to a credit card like gum? Perhaps this is just a sign that Swim needs to get away from the stuff!

if it burned a little when SWIY hit it I would prolly guess it is cut with baking powder, SWIM has had a serious bought with that shit and he went and knocked the hell outta the guy he got it from till he admitted to cutting it with that. and I feel ya as far as how it feels like your pulling your brain out everytime you blow your nose and 15 lbs of crap plops out...

SWIM has gotten some that was exactly like you described.....was it kind of yellowish? dealer said he's gotten same before. it was fairly strong coke however. swim snorted some but found it best when parachuted. or just used to numb ur mouth.

yellowish clumps in the coke...usually some form of methamphetamine base, swim has seen before. does it burn a lot and last longer ?

swims dealer usually has good powdery coke however today swim bought an eightball and realized that the coke was sticky like silly putty.

He cut up lines and snorted it and it seems to have the effects of good coke.

Can't be the moisture of the summer air because the other coke never got this sticky. After swim put it in the fridge for an hour or so it became less sticky but it was still weirdly sticky.

Can good coke come in the form of sticky putty? Does anyone know if a particular cut makes it so sticky?

I don't know about about sticky putty, but the last couple times SWIM bought some he was amazed at how soft it was.. It's like when he crushed it, it didn't shoot from under the razor, it just slowly got pushed down and was a pile of instant powder. SWIM and all his buddies say it's cuz the coke was really fresh, but god only knows if that's even accurate

It is most likely just the moisture content. Remember cocaine starts off as a paste thats dried to a powder, sticky coke is just poorly dried coke, at least in SWIMs experience. Especially since the potency was still high.

yeah swim has had a similar experience recently, it used to chop really fine and dusty but latley it has been of a waxy consistency and sort of sticking to the mirror! however still potent as usual. just not fluffing into a nice powder.
swim has also found lots of sticking to the side of the baggy etc.

alot of coke is cut with mannitol and sorbitol which are artificial sweeteners. when exposed to moisture these sweeteners can get quite sticky which could account for swiys sticky coke or freshly preshed coke is also often moist but fresh powder is usaully rocky moist, real hard to cut up and will numb swiys face from one line, or so a little birdie has told swim

the stickyness is from the humidity. whoever is cutting it is not letting it dry all the way and ships it out as is. let it dry under a fan for a couple hours

yea swims dealer is keeping it moist so that it is a lil heavier and he can rip you off a lil bit more... that what swim's got to watch out for in coke dealers they will always go for the extra .1 g

Here's what "my flamingo" does to dry out sticky c.

Take a desiccant packet from a vitamin bottle. You know those little paper packets or plastic containers that say, "Do not eat."
Open the baggie of c and place along with the desiccant pack in an airtight container.
Seal the container and let it sit overnight.
Upon opening you will have dry, flaky c.

SWIM agrees with suninmy_mouth... he keeps trying to imagine who's gonna have the patience to "let it sit overnight" (or even 30-90 minutes) and keeps coming up short. Maybe SWIM's unusual or something, but even the trip back home from picking some up was too long of a wait. The microwave method seems reasonable, stick the crystals in on a plate and give it several 15 second zaps (w/delays to let the plate cool a bit), that should do the trick.

cocaine itself is what you call "hygroscopic", which means it attracts water. from swim's experience the better the coke the quicker it goo's up from exposure to humidity. the best and quickest way to fix gooey gak is to put it on a plate and the plate on a burner as low as possible. begin chopping immediatly and continue until crispy. usually only a few minutes.

If SWIY has enough coke that SWIY is keeping some for the next day then leaving it unwrapped in a room with air conditioning on overnight will take all the moisture out of it with no effort.

SWIM bought an 8ball and it was GOOD stuff. lots of clumps and swim seperated the entire ball into 2.0 grams of "chunks" and 1.5 grams of "shake".
SWIM had read online about how cocain hcl/sulfate is REALLY solluble in water (1,800mg/ml according to wikipedia). So swim took a coffe filter, put the 1.5g of shake in it, added a few table spoons of water and let the coke disolve. the water filtered slowly but eventually I had a ball of white "impurities" in the filter and slightly clowdy water in the plate. This was placed on an electric stove set to "2" on the dial. after about an hour or so the plate had dried and nice white/clowdy clearish crystals were scraped up, also a slightly yellow "burnt" spot was left in a corner (probably from impurities settleing at the bottom). Thing is, the crystals were REALLY sticky and formed a big, crystal ball . SWIM left sitting out over night (6 hours) and it dried out a little but is STILL VERY STICKY and hard to break up. When weighed, the original 1.5g of powder was now 0.79g of "crystalized" wet cocaine. This means the original is roughly 60% pure or so SWIM figures.

SWIM will now attempt the "microwave" drying method at short 5 second bursts followed by a 5 second cooling phase. SWIM will report results.

SWIM finds that a heat lamp works well. The type kept for warming food. Keep it about three feet away from the yayo. Something else thats worked for swim in the past is to wrap the yayo in paper and set a blow dryer on it. Blown air and heat seems to work quick.

The drug can be ether or oil based. That can affect it. Also, when its humid, it makes it sticky. Chopping it up in a humid enviornment or area can make it evaporate also.
