Cool Dealing with doctors

Swim would like to hear from the experianced swims on the forum as to how swim can better himself with his doctors prescibing pain killers to swim. swim would like to hear tips , what not to say, what to say. swim finds this important for the fact that nowadays Dr's seem to always assume your adrug seeker.

Swim has a doctor that swim obtained after his car accident. swim was a new patient and being that swim had not been to his doctor since swim was 11 or 14 swim did not have any information for the doctor. (swim did have but swim does not want the dr's to talk reason being when swim was 18 swim was young and dumb and abused pain killers. now swim is 10yrs older and swim doesn't want to be punished for a mistake made when he was young) so my doctor saw swim . swim asked for hydocodone being thats what the hospital gave him. swims doctor said he is not a dr that prescibes pain killers even tho swim knows people who he see's that are in fact on pain killers. so swim figures ok dr thinks swim is seeking. so the dr gave swim naproxen and some nerve pill new but only for nerve pain. anyways swim did not fight just accepted the dr's plan and went with it. swim has been with this doc for a year now. swim has not in a year asked for any painmeds. swim is given 2mg ativan daily as needed , swim never calls for extra or makes up storys saying swim lost them. swim has showed controll on crontsrolled substances. swims back has started again swim was talking asprin but that ended up not doing it anymore. so swim started taking tylenol with 8 mg of codine. swim does indeed like the high from the pain meds and wont lie . but swim also needs the meds for the pain in his back. how should swim go about this.

swim looking for tips , advice, and knowledge!!! thank you all.
