Kratom/Opiate allergy crossovers?

SWIM has a friend who is very intrigued by SWIM's Kratom forays. SWIM really enjoys Kratom and thinks it's a nice easy way to spend a few hours.

SWIM's friend has what they think of as an "allergy" to opiates - nothing severe - but when given opiates in various dental operations, SWIM's friend gets the itches something fierce. Doctors have said that that is a common reaction in many people to opiates.

SWIM doesn't get this itching with opiates.

Will SWIM's friend get the itching side effect from Kratom too, as they are similar in many ways? The itching is uncomfortable enought that SWIM's friend opted to have a wisdom tooth removed with only Nitrous rather than go through the itching. So this is a major concern for her.
