Frequent or Non Frequent Use?

SWIM has always leaned towards the idea that if a person only smoked weed once per week, they would be able to better enjoy the experience (especially when consuming large quantities).

But lately SWIM has been thinking about how relaxed and chilled out he is with just a couple hits in him.

What's your guys preference, and why? Smoke all the time, or sparingly?

Re: Frequent or Non Frequent Use?

Swim loves to smoke small bits throughout the day, then a larger amount while relaxing before bed. Swim can tolerate life, pain and people much easier with a hit or two in her. Not so much as to be stoned, just happy and more relaxed, more focused.

Re: Frequent or Non Frequent Use?

SWIM has smoked in various frequencies throughout his life.

Currently he feels about a few hits in the evening after work does the trick, similar to having a beer and relaxing but much better.

For a while before this he would only smoke on weekends and get awfully baked every time.

Some years ago he would smoke multiple grams a day. Depending on quality he might not even get very high at that time.

Each one worked at the time he used it for different reasons. The first for the same reason as people have a beer after work, just to chill and relax. The second for celebrating weekends and just "partying". The third as a lifestyle choice and self-medication. SWIM has gone through a lot so doesn't judge but figures everyone will tend to use in a pattern appropriate for the purpose they use.

Re: Frequent or Non Frequent Use?

SWIM wishes that he could smoke daily, but the reality of the matter is that it's too impractical.

The cost (assuming one does not grow his/her own) + the inability to fully "act normal" + the inability to accomplish much is too much for SWIM. Yes, he can overcome these if he tries hard enough, but he'd be much better off in the end to just do it occasionally for his overall well-being (he has had periods of high-frequency high-volume smoking in the past, also).

A guy I know totally agrees, and he says its much more relaxing when he doesnt have to act normal or acomplish anything important, so usually only does it when he's by himself or only interacting with other people who are doing it. That said, probably because he doesn't do it very frequently means each time is more powerful, and in his opinion more enjoyable.

Re: Frequent or Non Frequent Use?

Swim works much better after having a few puffs. It helps her to stay focused and on the task at hand. She understands that not everyone is this way though.

Re: Frequent or Non Frequent Use?

Swim has also gone through periods of varying smoking frequency. As of late, swim has been enjoying smoking increasingly more and she thinks it's absolutely fine, great as a matter of fact. Swim would agree with lethargy that it just depends on what swiy wants it for; time of life, effects it has on swiy, what swiy needs to accomplish, etc. But at any rate, these days, swim prefers smoking throughout probably... a little less than half the day. She enjoys working while smoking, hanging out with people while smoking, writing, and every day tasks. As long as there are no important meetings involving too much interaction with others and she doesn't smoke so much she passes out.

Re: Frequent or Non Frequent Use?

Swim smokes pretty frequently. She's been known to smoke before writing major essays, etc. That's probably due to a combination of her personal reaction to weed, as well as the variety she's smoking. She hasn't noticed any diminishing effects due to her frequent use, although it does vary from week to week how much she ends up smoking.
