Ketamine and what it does to SWIM + questions
SWIM uses ketamine at school, where he runs the school choppin bud/x/k to drugheads. but normally when he isnt on ketamine, he is not as confident but the ketamine makes him much more confident
The way I see it is, ketamine, a dissassociative, takes you OUT of your body, and at the crash, it puts you BACK INTO YOUR BODY, and thats where u kick ass, because your even better at being yourself. take e, it makes u happy, crash makes you SAD is my way of thinking practical for all drugs or just some? like is the crash always the exact opposite or are there some catches etc, i know tiredness usually accompanies most crashes. |

Re: Ketamine and what it does to SWIM + questions
Your way of thinking is not practical. SWIY can NOT group all drugs into this "crash" formula. SWIM never crashes on K. In fact, after the bump of K wares off a little (45min-1hour), SWIM gets more energy and becomes awake as if he was just in a coma for an hour and needs to break free. SWIM loves this extra boost of energy unless it's 2am.
K will make one feel care-free, no necessarily confident. SWIY is probably mistaking these emotions. But please remember, the strongest drug is your brain's placebo effect: If you just enjoy the drug, and when it's done appreciate the fact that you can accomplish simple tasks with much more ease (sometimes when SWIM is on K, he can't even get up to brush his teeth) then there won't be a crash. E leaves your body and makes u a little depressed because of all the seratonin you have just used up, plus the thought that how you felt (amazing that the world was wonderful) is very hard to imitate without drugs and can lead to a depressing feeling that you want to feel this way again. Crashing on drugs + feeling confident on them = addiction prone. Please be careful; K is addictive although some people claim otherwise just cause there are no withdrawal symptoms. |

SWIM never has a comedown or 'crash' from K, it's more like a come-back-to-reality feeling

Re: Ketamine and what it does to SWIM + questions
Swim didn't crash or comedown after his Ket session. However, he did feel tired but that was probably because it was late and he had been up early that morning. He actually acquired a small headache, for reasons unknown. The following morning Swim was fine, just groggy like every morning, lol.
Swim thinks it is just coming back to reality. Does Ket release seratonin like MDMA does? |

Re: Ketamine and what it does to SWIM + questions
No, its primarily a NMDA receptor antagonist, it will also bind to opioid mu receptors and sigma receptors at higher doses. But AFAIK many recreational drugs may cause some serotonin release indirectly, which makes the user happy. |
