synergy between dilaudid and tramadol

Does anyone know if there would be a synergy between the two (aka potentiation) swim has never tried it but is sure there are a lot of swis ou there who have. Any comments?

Since they are both opioids(well, tramadol only partially is) they will potentiate each other, so they should make the effects of both stronger.

swim told me that it made the normally weak (at least orally) hydromorphone a lot more euphoric. Much closer to when he was given hydromorphone IV in the hospital. the most he could ever get the docs to give him was 4 Mg Hydromorphone IV. 10 MG hydromorphone, mixed with 200 mg tramadol, was VERY close to the hydromorphne IV. Just not as quick onset, obviously.

With oral tramadol and insufflated hydromorphone, Swim would say no. His personal experiences say that after doing one, the other really will not make much of an effect on the overall feeling. I'm almost sure this would be different for others, especially IVing hydromorphone.

Slight potentiation i suppose, "it all adds up" as the leaflet that comes with the needle packs states.
