Wine

Am I the only one on this forum who drinks wine to get drunk? Not the weak "blush" wines but the wines with about 12% alcohol and up. Obviously 12% is much more than beer and wine tastes much better. I was introduced to some good wines from a friend, and I don't think I will ever touch beer again or even hard alcohol. This stuff tastes great, fun to drink, nice euphoria. I usually drink mine with a nice wild dagga flower blunt, the combination creates a nice cannabis like high. Honestly I greatly disliked alcohol until I was introduced to fine wines. My personal favorite at the moment is a nice strong merlot.

i do love wine. the buzz(or drunk) you get off wine is very unique, and also the rarest since most people drink beer or hard liquor if they are going for the intoxication. and of course, red wine beats white any day.

plus i love those cute wine glasses.

Wine is really good especially when youre just hanging out with a couple
of good friends, playing cards, talking or whatever. The bad part about it
is if you drink a lot (like a couple bottles of cheap wine) the hangover,
atleast to me, is much worse than even cheap hard alcohol.
Plus it makes me feel like more of an adult when im not binge drinking
and just trying to get wasted.

Wine is the only alchohol that I enjoy the flavour, but a bottle of wine makes me puke...alot and why else would you drink other than to get drunk, do you smoke for the taste?

I like my beers etc. but wine is up there with my fave alchol drinks of all time.

Red wine is my fave. I have drank some really old wine, worth about €500 once, for free. It was so nice and I had a few pure joints of nice bud and I was wrecked.

Wine is great.

Wine and Acid is my drugs of choice for NYE

I like to drink wine and various other drinks just for the taste and not to
get drunk occasionally. Sometimes its fun to just drink for a little buzz
and to loosen up with dinner or friends.

i love getting drunk off wine, however the hangovers can be pretty shitty most of the time, compared to beer or hard liquor (well whisky) the mix gets me with the other shit all the time.

Is so much better than beer. Here is my reasoning:

-Ok, facts. Wine is higher %. Much.

-Tastes so much better.

-It's cheaper.

Yup. Discuss

if thats your opinion then great! However, points can be made about other drinks and why there better also. And by the way saying it tastes better is an opinion, i think wine tastes like shit, beer tastes much better to me. There are other drinks that can be bought for less too, including beer, a 30 pk of icehouse is like $14, a bottle of demitri is like $10.Lastly vodka and other hard shit has a higher alc. by vol. % then wine.

Either way......Cheers!

-Definetly higher alcohol content!
-Taste is debatable. (Beer's better!)
-It's Way more expensive than beer: $12 for a bottle
of Merlot vs. $6 for a six-pack.

...and the hangover is NASTY, nasty!

I'm sticking with beer.

Usually, the only wine I drink is the hard cheap shit like Night Train or Thunderbird. However right now it's hot where I live, so I'm drinking a few glasses of Arbor Mist Blenders. I've never tried them until now but they taste really good.(I'm drinking the peach flavor.)

William_Again,

Those are hateful, harmful words that cut deep into
my heart.

Were I not half drunk right now, I might have been left
psychologically scared after reading your post.

It's only BEER that saved me!

It has wonderful healing powers and it's still not too
late for you to drink some.

Save yourself, William_Again.

Drink Beer!

Is it just me or does wine give anyone else the shits?

I'm serious, its awful the day after, I don't touch the stuff anymore,
nor do I drink beer because it started giving me shitty headaches. I'll
stick to my JD and coke any day, that or rum and coke. Can't beat it!

The buzz from wine comes on fast and furious. However, the headaches I get the next day are raging. I've had 2 bottles of wine in a night and I swear my head was going to explode the next day.

However, I'll drink wine (red)any day over a beer. I don't get bloated with wine like I do with beer so that's one huge advantage. Also, it's a little more classy here in SoCal to drink a handful of glasses of wine instead of drilling a 6-12 pack of beer. My wife doesn't get as annoyed while I'm quickly sipping glasses of wine. However, when I'm cracking open a can or bottle of beer every 15 minutes, and crashing it into the trash can, well, she gets a little peeved with this.

Also, getting sick on wine is far worse than getting sick on beer. I'll dry heave for hours from too much wine whereas beer I'll usually just vomit and be done with it.

To each his own I guess. Just give me a drink.

I drink wine. In fact, if it was a bit cheaper and a bit easier to drink outdoors, it would probably be my drink of choice. I like old world Merlots and Chiantis the most.

I like wine sometimes. I especially like sangria, merlot is good
to. Beer is my preference though. Not those weak ones eithier like say
budweiser.

Wine is more of a going out to dinner catch a light buzz thing for me unless Im using it to steep ethno's in.

A little saying I heard Red wine is for passion and White wine is
for intellect. It refers to the setting of the meal with which its
served.

Kinda like roses colors mean different things.
