Flying High Long After the Weed's Gone?

One of my friends has been telling me that, after a sustained Marijuana binge where she would smoke around 1 eight or more a day for at least three days, she gets a massive rush of energy similar to that which is experienced in the use of cocaine or in the manic episodes of bi-polar disorder. This massive amount of energy will often be sustained for 4 days or more, in which she has great difficulty sleeping, in staying on one subject etcetera. Has anyone else experienced this massive run of energy after a heavy Marijuana binge?

It happens to some people, i guess is some kind of rebound effect
keeping the balance but messing with sleep cycles
