180 mg codiene....question!

swim just took 180 mgs of codiene, swim had 6 pills that were 30/500mg codiene and ace. how long will it take until swim feels anything?

15-60 min depending on stomach contents.
3000mg acetaminophen=very unhealthy dose, i hope swiy did a cwe

Please don't take any more, that's a fairly high dose of codeine but a rather dangerous dose of acetaminophen!

Definitely agreed.

SWIM hopes SWIY did a CWE (cold water extraction) to remove the Acetaminophen from those pills. It won't kill SWIY, but that ain't a nice dose of Acetaminophen to be taking!

yea swim used CWE too much ace = bad liver....also swim took 280 a while ago but did not really have any affect.....neither last night when he took 180?

SWIY could be one of the minority group who do not experience the recreational effects of Codeine, or SWIY could already have built up a tolerance?

Depending on your weight, a large dose of acetaminophen isn't all that bad.

Optimal adult dosing appears to be somewhere in the 20 to 30 mg/kg range based on the premise that the 4 hour level is a trough level that should be in the low therapeutic range.

BUT, why put something that is so toxic into your body when its so easy to get rid of?

Acute toxicity is not the only concern with APAP ingestion. Chronic use can cause liver problems even if maximum doses are never exceeded.
