quick question about codeine once extracted

hiya everyone,
SWIM has performed the CWE
(crushed 16 nurofen plus pills to a powder then desolved them in slightly warm evian water for a couple hours then left in the fridge at 3c for a few hours then devided into 3, each 1/3rd filtered through 2 coffee filters overnight in the fridge for 10 hours)
and is left with ~60ml of water with codeine in (hopefully ) but now theres about 1cm of quite clear water on top and about there is 1mm of sludge at the bottom. would this be the ibuprofen that made it through the filters? or could it have been so long that the codeine has seperated from the water?

what SWIM need to know is whether i avoid the sludge or mix it up before drinking?

hmmm, doubt the codeine has precipitated, swim would filter it again to be safe!

also, while swim says better safe than sorry, he usually completes a whole cwe in less then an hour, 10hr filtering is overkill!

the 10 hours was more because he started late and had to go to bed rather than thought it needed that long lol tho SWIM wasnt in a rush to be honest..

SWIM will put the first lot through the filter again while the 2nd 16 tabs filter..


if SWIM has the first 16 and doesnt feel anything, how long should he wait before having some from the 2nd batch? he doesnt want to do it too soon and OD or too late and it be like 2 weak doses instead of 1 good one

Well there's no point in redosing tbh, because codeine inhibits the enzyme that coverts it to morphine so swiy really needs to take everything that he's gonna take in the first 15 min! does swiy have any opiate experience? 16 neurofen+ pills should be plenty! they're 12.5 mg of codeine per pill right? that might even be a bit much for a first time!

There shouldn't be sludge after filtration. Swiy should filter again.

Please post the complete drug ingredient list, including active drug amounts (amount of Codeine etc).

Definitely, SWIY should not drink any suspect "sludge" (which is, more accurately, something which has precipitated out of solution).

Do not redose unless SWIY plans on redosing very soon after the initial dose, and do not redose unless SWIY is confident that he/she will be ingesting a (relatively) safe amount of Codeine. Codeine can kill, remember. It's not likely if SWIY is careful regarding dosages, but nevertheless Codeine overdose can be fatal.
