I stumbled across this little program a while ago. it's from www.dextroverse.org.

it calculates the amount of DXM required for the desired plateau. you can also turn on the "tolerance" function for those of you who have one. enter your weight, the source of DXM you are using, and voila! very handy.

it also comes with the Agent Lemon extraction method (syrups). and an extraction for coricidon and sucrets.

download it hereEdited by: serotonin

well, you realize that everyone's "physical chemistry" is different. it's completely possible that the plateau calculator is of no use to you. but you have to realize that it is ment as more of a suggestion, or guidelines. i'm sure that a large majority of the people who use it will find it very accurate. im sorry it doesn't work out for you.

Dream king if you do dxm alot this calculator isn't useful because it doesn't calculate tolerance. This is if you have no tolerance. If you do dxm on a normal basic you will need to take the maximum suggested dosage on the calculator maybe more =(. But don't take more if you don't know that you have a tolerance.

I thought it seemed like a real bad idea... Then I tried the program and the dosages it gives for my weight are REAL close to what I take through trial and error. Obviously not for everyone, but good for me.

Peace,

D.

Tried it, numbers come pretty close to what i use, turned on tolerance button

I thinnk this is a good guide for newbies, but i dont even use scale anylonger to measure out my dx, i just eyeball around what i want

i know approx what 150 mg is, what 500mg is and what 600 mg is, i can take it from there

As well, i mean even if you have done it a few times (powder) i bet you can still eyeball yourself to a good trip

Its not like a few 10's of mg is gonna kill ya, however do be careful when going 1000+mg because things start to really heat up

1300 mg is very very strong, and 1000 is way weaker (in me at least)

100-300 is pretty low, then nothing till like 500-600 which is stronger, then nothing till bout 900-1000 gets stronger,

My highest dose ever was 1700 (im guessing, i took around 3 550 mg servings in 2 hours) and it was nuts

Then some time later i had 2 500 mg servings (no food im guessing caused it) and i had a seizure...

BE CAREFUL, ALWAYS GO LOW BEFORE YOU GO HIGH

for me DJ 666's calculator was very accurate, although i do not use DXM very often so i have no tolerance. i dont know how these things can calculate tolerance and accomodate, isnt it a case to case thing? one person may develop a much stronger tolerance much quicker than another person? i would say that these calculators are accurate for people who have not done DXM before or at least not very often.

The calculator's results pretty much matches what SWIM has learned from experience. Good find.

Edit: I meant the first calculator from dextroverse.org.

(Dextroverse's)/(Third Plateau's)/(Dextroverse's w/tolerance)

1st: (78-131mg)/(78-130mg)/(90-150mg)
2nd: (131-392mg)/(130-391mg)/(150-451mg)
3rd: (392-784mg)/(391-782mg)/(451-902mg)
4th: (>784mg)/(>782mg)/(>902mg)

Without any actual tolerance, I would almost say these numbers are a little
on the high side (at least for me - big DXM lightweight). The differences
in everyone's reaction to DXM is so diverse though. Overall, I think they're
pretty good to use as a guideline.

When SWIM first tried it he used the calculater listed earlier from me. It was REALLY ok so SWIM thinks that this is a really good one...
