Pet Morphine?

SWIM has a friend that currently has 3 vials of morphine for her dog. Each vial contains 30mgs of morphine.

If SWIM wanted to consume this morphine whats the best way?

Can it be taken orally and have an effect?

What is the bioavailability if taken orally as opposed to injection?

Re: Pet Morphine?

newbie edit.

SWIMs friend came over and dropped 3 purple pills in his hand. When SWIM researched this he found that the pills in question are Purdue Pharma MS Contins. Sweet?

SWIM has been taking Oxycontins for the last 3 months. Usually taking only 20mgs a day but sometimes upwards of 80mgs. SWIM loves to crush and snort the oxys but wonders about crushing these little guys up. With a relativley decent tolerance for opiates what can SWIM expect snorting say half of a pill, 15mgs?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give. SWIM wont try it until hes sure of what hes doing.

Re: Pet Morphine?

snorting morphine pills doesn't seem to give much of a rush as compared to oxycodone. swim would eat them or IV them. but thats swim. swim knows injecting pills is not a good idea and swim is not recomending to do so. swiy should just eat them. 30 mg of morphine will be equivelant to 20 mg of oxycodone.

Re: Pet Morphine?

Swim heard that rectal admin of morphine is far better than eating them. One could hypothetically dissolve a pill in water and squirt it up the pipe with a needleless syringe. That's definitely, without a doubt what swim would do if he had morphine. Of course, he's be sure to start with quite a low dose just to be safe.

Re: Pet Morphine?

I guess the dog in question doesnt need them anymore. Something about being dead or something.

SWIM has been snorting them, mostly because SWIM has an addiction to snorting. He loves the way things feel blasting his sinuses.

Honestly SWIM gets a small rush from snorting them.

SWIM snorted 15mgs before work and just felt "ok", then when SWIM got home he railed the remaining pill and still felt "ok" which isnt a bad thing at all.

However SWIM is going to take your advice today and "plug" one. Isnt that the term used for rectal admin?

SWIM is even contemplating plugging his oxy script from now on.
