salvia divinorum Acetone Question

Okay, I've heard all about putting 151 proof alcohol or 99% isoprophyl into a dish with salvia to extract it, but I'm concerned about the acetone. What kind should I use? I've had this in my house and just realized it was there about a day ago. Will this be ok?
