SSRI's and Premature Ejaculation
Just like the title says has anyone else had premature ejaculation problems after stopping SSRIs? I had never had sex until after I was put on an SSRI so I'm not entirely sure if it's related or not so any info would be appreciated.

This sometimes happens to swim when he ceases and changes SSRI's, the worst being Efexor-XR. SSRI's have an inhibiting effect on some sexual functions and when they are ceased there seems to be a whole lot more sensitivity to sexual stimulation. Men who suffer from premature ejaculation are sometimes put on SSRI's specifically to treat this problem.

ssri's for premature ejaculation?
just wanted to know how many guys here have this problem and if u recommend taking ssri's for the benefit it has of making you last longer

this is kind of an awckward subject but if i never ask ill never fix it

SSRI's can fix that problem - in the reverse: SWIM never gets off.

Has SWIM tried going real slow and passionate? In other words, it's not a road-race. Take time, SWIM. It feels better for SWIM's partner as well as SWIM. Try that before turning to drugs to fix a "problem" that may have more to do with technique than with physiology.

It will kill swiys drive! besides, some ssri's could take quite a while to start working, it wouldn't be worth it to "last longer".

Not to get too much off topic, but tramadol works great in swims FRIENDS experience(not swim, swim doesn't need to last longer).

SWIM does not reccomend it for that reason. As said earlier they kill your sec drive, but they will help with premature ejac most likely, if it is REALLY that big of a problem. But SWIM would only use it as a last resort.

Swim cant find the article but he read something that trazodone can help for Pre-ejac if it really is that big of a problem plus it has a smaller side effect profile compared to ssri's
