Re: Nootropics for Motivation?
Hi all, I am fairly new to nootropics, but have experienced with a few of them. I've tried, sulbutiamine, Piracetam, Picamilon and I resently bought the Synergistic Program -
All I beg of You is if you can better guide me in finding out a noot that will aid me in the visualization practice that I so desperately need to achieve, for my job demands that I developed a cutting edge visualization which I be able to fucust and put all my attention in one thought and one thought only. Please, If you know of a Noot that can help me in this matter, I will really appreciate your kind input. thanks all. Last edited by Jatelka; 23-07-2008 at 13:26. |

Re: Nootropics for Motivation?
SWIM does not really know much about RR, all he knows is that it unfortunately did not work for him at all. He's still searching for smth that helps. Aniracetam seemed to help sometimes to some extent. But he did not take any choline with it.

Re: Nootropics for Motivation?
Oh, I should have been more specific. RR did not do anything.
Aniracetam boosts the mood as well. Racetams seem to help some ppl with a lot of issues. One sad thing about all nootropics is that it seems you have to try if they work for you. |

Re: Nootropics for Motivation?
SWIM is prescribed Methylphenidate(Concerta). When he takes it, he finds that it can help him focus but has little effect on minimizing his motivation or procrastination problems.
So for example, instead of Reviewing Spanish vocabulary, or writing an essay he might instead opt for spending 2 hours dusting his room. What might be a good Nootropic to use daily in combination with low doses of methylphenidate? Last edited by doggy_hat; 07-11-2008 at 23:26. |

Re: Nootropics for Motivation?
well, actually its not for SWIM but his girlfriend, so he'd like to know.. she prefers herbal stuff..
he actually did try aniracetam and found it, not like piracetam, anti-depressing since its motivating, so kinda indirectly working as an anti-depr. oxiracetam kinda relaxes him, so somehow its similar, although different, but acting as well as an AD. however, more information on RR would be nice Quote:

Re: Nootropics for Motivation?
Hey @All,
SWIM lately has tried Rhodiola as a Nootropic. He mixed it with some other stuff, the cocktail all in all consisted of : - 400mg Rhodiola - 200mg Coffein - 4 pills which contains many substances, if you sonsume 4 then it is the following : ( Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid, zinc & manganese ascorbates) 150 mg 2.5 Thiamin (vitamin B-1) 50 mg 33.3 Riboflavin (vitamin B-2) 20 mg 11.8 Niacinamide 80 mg and Niacin 40 mg 120 mg 6 Vitamin B-6 (as pyridoxine HCl) 25 mg 12.5 Folate (as folic acid) 400 mcg 1 Vitamin B-12 (as cyanocobalamin) 50 mcg 8.3 Biotin 50 mcg 0.2 Pantothenic Acid (as calcium D-pantothenate) 120 mg 12 Calcium (as calcium citrate) 60 mg 0.06 Magnesium (as magnesium oxide & citrate) 120 mg 0.3 Zinc (as zinc ascorbate) 10 mg 0.7 Manganese (as manganese ascorbate) 5 mg 2.5 Potassium (as potassium citrate) 100 mg 0.02 L-Glutamine 500 mg L-Pyroglutamic Acid 500 mg Phosphatidylcholine 350 mg † L-Tyrosine 275 mg Eleutherococcus senticosus Root 225 mg DMAE (as DMAE bitartrate) 160 mg † Gotu Kola Herb 150 mg † L-Phenylalanine 125 mg Choline (as choline bitartrate) 100 mg † Taurine 100 mg † Ginger Root 80 mg † Schizandra Fruit 80 mg † Cayenne Fruit 60 mg † Inositol 30 mg † Ginkgo biloba Leaf 24% (50:1 extract) 20 mg †) - 3-4 g Super Thai Kratom SWIM would recommend it as a mild upper. In consideration that the second ingredient takes effect not before 3-4 days or so, the mixture is okay. SWIY's girlfriend could try it for learning (the vendor is not that important, mine is european, 1 pill should at least contain 200mg). If she is really stressed, maybe it won't help ... SWIM's first exam is on next monday and he did not get things done like he wanted to. If that stuff won't help him till the weekend, he has to have a good brainwave. He also tried LSA for writing a paper in one night, cause harder stimulants are somehow hard to get for him and in his area you need a prescription for nearly every legal substance. The LSA kind of helped the first two hours, because one is really awake, especially in the mind. But after a while one's body is too weak to press the correct keys ... after all SWIM would not recommend LSA as a short-term nootropic ... perhaps everyone knew that ... SWIM did not

SWIM has had GREAT results from 500 mg Solaray Rhodiola Rosea(3% Rosavins and 1% Salidrosides), 400mg Red Panax Ginseng extract(containing a minimum of 30mg ginsenosides) and Solaray Bitter Orange extract 120mg containing a minimum of 7.2mg synephrine plus 200mg bitter orange(not standardised for synephrine)
Swim really trust Solaray, and the ginseng is from a Norwegian brand ( all the constitutents have to be as high as they claim) Swim had immidiate results in energy( possibly because of Bitter O.), and after half a week a significantly reduce in stress with aforementioned energy boost, than about two weeks later reduced depression coupled with aforementioned effects. Swim is most pleased with the results! But Swim has gained a tolerance to the Bitter O. and now uses 3 capsules 3 times a day. |

Re: Nootropics for Motivation?
Has anyone any experience using Centrophenoxine + Piracetam for this purpose? SWIM is waiting impatiently for some which they intend to take daily with Piracetam (4.8g Piracetam split between 3 doses, 500mg Centrophenoxine split between 2 doses).
