Setting - Is a Trip Sitter Necessary for Mushrooms?

Hello my fellow circus clowns. I am aware of the flooding of OMG!!!1sttrippp help me questions but please bare with me.

A friend of mine who we will be adressing as SWIM, is contemplating growing his own p.cubensis and has done his research. Almost like rasing a little fungi child and experiencing it on his own.

He is a curious little devil and would like to inquire some expert advice,
Do you think by taking a small dosage at first he will fine with no sitter?
like lets say 1-2g.

SWIM has alot of experience with a certain dissociative he wishes he had'nt, mainly due to new information reguarding its safeness(DXM), also with things such as Salvia Divornium, LSA , and Marijuana. He even perfers smoking that lovely Jane by himself because it can be much more spiritual.

But do you think he is in safe territory to venture on this quest on his lonesome?
