dosing problem? tolerance? or something else?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to be asking this as it concerns methylone also-- if mods want to feel free to move

anyway, this is something swim has noticed in his last bunch of experiments with mdma and more recently methylone. All experiences are spread out at least a month and more often 6 so I wouldn't think this would be about swim's tolerance-- but I guess that's part of the question here.

Effects from mdma (for swim) the last bunch of times are either
a) doesn't feel like quite enough to "break though" instead effects make swim feel drowsy and slightly antisocial until mdma wears off where swim starts to feel excellent and happiness. or
b) clearly have taken a bit much, incredibly drowsy and there's massive tingling which is uncomfortable rather than nice and relaxing as swim had it in the past. This is very antisocial and swim tries to escape and get control during this. When it wears off swim feels great and good again

in both situations it feels like the real high is coming after the mdma wears off, but its not intense, just a mellow happiness... no comedown and no hangover either, which did happen in the past... a and b has been achieved with 3 different batches of pills so far each testing blue/black (none of the common adulterants at the very least) on eztest.

and on top of this, 125 mgs of methylone just tonight caused swim to feel uncomfortable and mildly antisocial for about 2.5 hours (a mini version of the e effects for the duration of methylone's effects) and when it wore off swim felt very very good + mildly stimulated (but not in the way methylone worked prior)... swim took methylone once before at this dose and had fantastic results at this dosage + a crash at the end (backwards?)

my question I guess would be is this a problem with dosing? tolerance? or some randomly altered brain chemistry? Obviously noone can say anything for sure based on this description, but I thought maybe someone might have some understanding as to why these almost reverse effects happen, or at the very lest experience(from someone else of course )/possible causes/possible fixes etc--or maybe it just is dosing and mild tolerance is an issue? like, does anyone ever feel antisocial and uncomfortable on too low a dose of mdma?

anyway, if people have thoughts on this thanks in advance, swim really did enjoy this type of substance before it started treating him more roughly and it doesn't exactly sound like the regular kind of tolerance..

Is SWIY sure of the purity of the given deal of MDMA?

SWIM has felt depressed only once, when there was a small dose left of his crystals, he tried it, came up for about half an hour and then crashed like a dog trying to fly.

How much was SWIY taking?

@vcdman - the first time this problem presented for swim was after a year of break, after that all occasions (including methylone) were more than a month apart -- and swim has never abused mdma. Methinks this isn't a tolerance issue for swim, or a neurotransmitter downregulation one as swim had excellent experience on neo doves.. also keep in mind the effects can be far too strong as well as not enough. Thx for the thought tho

@Whit - the purity could definitely be questionable, it was just the basic eztest (marquis I believe?) that showed mdma like substance for swim on all of the above.. but the methylone is apparently 99.9% pure and swim is fairly sure of this. For mdma swim felt almost nothing on 1 pill of one batch and farrr too intense effects on 3 pills of that same batch. Swim also took 1.5 pills of another batch when he was fairly sure he shoulda taken 2 (they were considered low dose), but the effects of too low a dose seemed like they were going in the wrong direction if that makes sense (drowsy and unchatty despite mild euphoria), and the effects of the other pills and methylone were too (whether too strong or weak) -- assuming the pills are basically mdma do you think its possible for the experience of mdmx structured chemicals (seemingly specifically) to turn unfun without tolerance? or (maybe assuming that lsd has cross tolerance with methylone *ahem*) is dosing just very specific for mdmx to be good? swim always assumed that too low a dose of mdma would be enjoyable but just less intense- not that there would be a line that needed to be crossed for good effects to be felt or anything to that extent ... mind you swim did just remember that the first 10 minutes of a comeup from pills that worked had the same kind of irritable unsociable feeling, maybe that's it?

I guess there's no real way to answer this for sure; I was more just curious if anyone had friends with similar experience as swim, whether it be problems with all mdxx chems or just noticing that too low a dose causes negative effects (it makes sense that too high a dose would) -- swim is kind of afraid to test himself out more until he has an idea of what to expect
