i am honestly starting to think that breaking through is bullshit.. i dont feel like ive been anywhere close to breaking through, and i have done not two, not three, but FOUR tokes.. nice and big too.. sure it was absolute insanity, with hallucinations that i cant even remember in detail, but no breaking through.. no space, no dome, no elves.. nothin like that.. now by the time you get that fourth toke in, fractal space has absorbed you and it would be hard as hell to get another one.. maybe i need five lol?

There have been stories about users that have a lot of difficulty achieving depth, regardless of the volume they ingest. Even Strassman discovered a few subjects during his research on the molecule that weren't able to go deep. These stories were omitted from his book "The Spirit Molecule" but he has continued interest in hearing others' tales about resistance. The anecdotally inclined may have theories about there being a lower concentration of 5-HT2a receptors in these light travelers.

A local shaman that hosts voyages told SWIM that he has seen a couple of travelers that almost seemed resistant to the experience, and dosages over 100mg had little effect.

So little research has been done, it's anyone's guess at to why. SWIDrunkyDaBear may just be built a wee bit different.

Perhaps a orally would be more effective? Ive heard alot about how hard it is sometimes to break the veil for some people, does SWIM smoke anything else? Cigarettes, Marijuana, anything? Being a smoker helps you take bigger hits I think

Breaking through is no bullshit.

-refine your smoking techniques
-smoke high purity dmt
-dont worry so much about breaking through it's just a term and the effects of breaking through are subjective. Sure there are some elements of a dmt trip that some people identify as the same but everyone reacts differently to drugs each time they take them. That's just the nature of pyschadelics, they are unpredictable, they are like wild animals.

For some people meeting extra-terrestrial elves would not constitute a "breakthrough." It would just be another day in the life. Especially if they lived near Harvard Square in Cambridge, Masssachusetts.
