Storage of Ecstacy

I was wondering what is the length of time one can store ecstasy before it deteriorates ?

I've heard some people claim it only takes a week but surely this cant be true.

Somebody I know was thinking of storing it in a sealed small film cannister at room, temerature for about 3 weeks to a month before using, mainly because cynicism tells him if he waits for the last two weeks the third party source wont be able to procure any right before its needed.

Th best way to preserve MDMA is in a brown glass vial. In other words keep it dry, cool and out of sunlight and it should last a very long time. Apparently, pure MDMA can last a lifetime if kept that way.

Ecstasy won't deteriorate in a week.

The above post is correct. Airtight. Out of light. And, if possible, kept cold.

Alexander Shulgin stated that pure MDMA, if discovered in the pyramids of Egypt, would still be active today. Of all the chemists I can think of, he likely has the best take on it's longevity.

SWIM has had her ecstasy pills in a ziploc bag, shut tight, and with the ziplock bag folded over to wrap around the pills. Then SWIM put it in a small coin purse and put it in the dresser, where it is dark and cool. It has been a little over a month. should they be ok? SWIM is worried. Has anyone known anyone with experience with this? HELP! This is really bothering me!

Swim keeps his pills in an airtight container, in a dark cupboard along with all his other vitamin and mineral supplements. They say that an MDMA compound will exist as long as us.
