does San Pedro grow in the U.S?

Hi all,

SWIM was wondering if anyone new weather Trichocereus pachanoi grew any where in the U.S. naturally. SWIM knows that its not necessarily a desert cactus, and SWIM has read that Indian tribes as far as Northern Mexico still use it to the day. But does it actually grow this far up north? SWIM has seen online pics of huge wild San Pedro that people claim was in the states, but does anyone know for sure?

Thanks to all
