Re: Energy Drinks and Cocaine??
You know, SWIM doesnt know why. But SWIM shares the same problem. Swim noticed this after a year of daily coke use. Swim now process caffeine differently, jittery, slightly paranoid, butterflies in the stomach, and wayyyy to much energy. SWIM doesnt know but SWiY are not alone.

energy drinks and cocaine
I asked swim about this
He also has found if he consumes C and caffeine energy drinks in the same night he cannot sleep, or infact get tired at all. I said to him it was probably just the fact he drank all that caffeine, but swim just laughed at me saying he normally go’s though a 6 pack of em in the course of a normal day. He can sleep on either but when both are used he says sleep isn't an option! Does C bind with caffeine in anyway to cause this effect (like with C + alcohol)? Re: Energy Drinks and Cocaine??
Swim has no experience with cocaine, but when you don't have any tolerance to caffeine, it has a lot of effect
. Swim and i usually don't drink coffee, but since i'm studying now i am drinking a lot of coffee and the first days i seemed like someone under the influence of speed :P. It's a shame tolerance to caffeine builds very quickly.

Re: cocaine and energy drinks
SWIM only takes coffee when he's really up against it.... we're talking less than one hour sleep and pulling an eight hour shift. He'll drop a bit of Splenda but finds that the whole experience makes him jittery, hot and bothered. No matter how much he's had the night before he'll usually rather indulge in a cold ice water and a number two but he takes the coffee because it's the popular thing to do. In his line of work he's given the time to recover so he can hardly complain.... just take the joe, grab some shut-eye and finish out the day.

Re: Energy Drinks and Cocaine??
SWIM did cocaine very frequently for about three years. Before that he would drink tons of caffeine and not even notice the effects. SWIM then tried cocaine and found much stronger effects. SWIM hasn't done coke in a while but when he drinks energy drinks he also cannot get to sleep at all. SWIM believes now that he has done cocaine he notices the effects of the caffeine to a much greater extent because he knows what a stimulant should feel like.

What is SWIY's favorite combo with cocaine?
SWIM personally loves cocaine + Xanax, like many others do. He used to only take the Xanax after putting the coke away, but lately, he's been doing Xanax at the same time as the cocaine more and more often.
A night spent this way usually goes like this: taking a small amount of Xanax (SWIM only gets Xanax in the form of 2 mg bars, so visually he takes about half a square, which would be 0.25 mg or so) before starting with the blow, to overpower the anxiety / paranoia usually associated with cocaine use, then do a couple of lines. Then he'd take another half square, crush it up and mix it with another couple of lines of blow (everyone knows Xanax is not water soluble, but SWIM has found this combo does work, the Xanax hits instantly, but lasts much less long than when taken orally ; furthermore SWIM's blow is often moist and clumpy, and mixing the Xanax with it dries it out a bit and makes it easier to chop up). Then he takes another half square of Xanax, does one last line or two, and takes one last half square to help him sleep after the cocaine wears off. SWIM has found this is a great combo, as the Xanax doesn't overpower the coke, and instead makes the coke high more relaxed and carefree. SWIM also occasionally smokes a little bit of bud (enough to be relaxed and carefree, but not enough to get completely baked) before starting his session. The only problem here is that when SWIM takes Xanax, he often takes more and more (he'd think he'd only take 1 mg during the whole night, and by the end of the night he'd have taken 4 mg or more, and wouldn't even remember it in the morning...a well known case of "lost" benzos), so he tries to limit himself to no more than 1 mg, maybe 1.5 if he has trouble sleeping after being done with the blow for the night. |

Cocaine + Energy Drinks
SWIM snorted about twice his usual amount, and then drank a Rockstar Energy Drink in a short period of time. SWIM then experienced a moderate euphoria, but had severe chest pain that hit in waves,a rapid and irregular heartbeat, and a light head. It was painful as fuck, and he had to lie down. A week later, he tried a smaller dosage of coke with an energy drink and the same thing happened. It seems that the caffeine and taurine in energy drinks combined with cocaine caused his heart to really fuck up, is this possible?
BTW, he is a varsity track and cross country runner, with a low heart rate, and no history of heart problems. |

Re: Cocaine + Energy Drinks
yes. please seek medical assistance ASAP. get a full check up including cardio., and avoid stimulant combinations until you have a clearer picture.
cocaine use is already pretty heavy on the cardiovascular system itself, so stay on the safe(r) side. b Last edited by Benga; 13-08-2007 at 09:49. Reason: spelling |

Re: Cocaine + Energy Drinks
This is really weird. SWIM had a very similar experience. One night he got through about 5.5g of the good stuff while drinkin a fair amount of beer, he also experienced tightness in the chest, light headedness, irregular heart beat, feeling like he was goin to pass out. He went to see a doctor the next day and there was nothing wrong. Everytime he had cocaine after this event, no matter how small the amount, he would experience exactly the same thing.
Now I'm not sayin it wasn't heart related and I know that cocaine can cause cardiovascular complications, but could it just be that it caused extreme anxiety, or a panic attack? Stimulants are well known for causing this. |

Re: Cocaine + Energy Drinks
Panic attacks are totally possible, but nonetheless it should be checked out because most post people can't decipher the difference between a heart attack and a panic attack. There would need to be a trigger for the panic attacks though.

Re: Cocaine + Energy Drinks
It was checked out by a physician, and there was no cardiovascular problems, or none in the family for that matter. Some can have sudden, unexplained attacks of anxiety for no reason whatsoever, and the trigger could quite possibly be over use of stimulants

Re: Cocaine + Energy Drinks
don't mess with your heart. If it doesn't feel good once, don't do it again. Second time might be the one that kills you.
SWIM believes that if he did cocaine and drank a redbull that his heart would pop like a water baloon at the carnival. But then, swim is a big fat out of shape mofo that works a physically demanding job, so his hearts already got enough on its plate. cocaine once or twice a week is swims substitute for cardio vascular exercise. Honestly, why do you need more energy when you are already riding the train? You've really got me stuck on that one bud.

Re: Cocaine + Energy Drinks
I agree with SWIY there, it provides a very mild stimulation (if anything at all) but that might just be enough to push ones ticker over the edge.

Re: Cocaine + Energy Drinks
yes. the combination seems pretty uselessly dangerous, high levels of caffeine and what no with cocaine is aksing for trouble.
get some insam gold (six years maturation) korean red ginseng extract instead, if swiyou really needs to combine. b Last edited by Benga; 22-08-2007 at 00:49. Reason: oops |
