Adderall and School

Alright so swim has done adderall once awhile back, 20mg and enjoyed the experience. Well swim has an english paper that has to be done tomorrow in which he hasn't even started and was thinking about taking an adderall in the morning when he gets up to help him get it done.

Swim has heard a lot of stories about using adderall to study, but swim's question is, has anyone ever heard of someone taking adderall to study or do school work, but feeling too great to bother to do it? And swim isn't talking about an extreme dose, just a lighter one.

Swim doesn't want to take the adderall, not get the paper done while feeling the effects because he is feeling too great to care, then not get it done later because he is crashing.

One other question... how long do the 20mg IRs last before you start coming down?

a few hours is how long it will last. just make sure that swim knows that he has to do his work in the back of his head

haha swim doesn't know about how long the IRs last but she can definately tell you that you'll be focused on the paper or whatever it is swiy is intending to focus on. swiy isn't about to go into an opiate nod or anything like that, thats not really how amphetamines work in swim's opinion and experience.

if swiy does ever happen to find any amphs that give them the "feel too good to work" feeling, make sure swiy announces it on the d-f!

the d-amphetamine in the adderall will last around 4 hours and the l-amphetamine a bit longer, however keep in mind that it is the d-amphetamine that will create the best focus. Swim finds once it wears off, as long as doses aren't stacked there is a retention in ability to work but a decrease in efficiency for another hour or two. One dose either way wont end in much of a crash if its kept low (swiy wont necessarily be unable to work).

As for getting work done, adderall will make any task swiy is attempting interesting. That being said, if swiy is on msn, reading a newspaper, browsing digg or anything else, swiy will likely continue to do this for quite some time unless there is some major will power intervening. The best way to use adderall is to take it, lay the work that needs to be done out, go shower/eat/etc and then come back to the work just as its kicking in, without starting any other tasks- once swiy has started the work swiy'll be glued to it for the next 4-5 hours

if swiy is careful, tomorrow will be a very productive day

PS : swiy should try not to eat anything acidic (milk, orange juice etc) as this lowers the absorption of amphetamines

Well, swim got his paper done. It did take him awhile though cause he was doing some stuff on the side too. Talk to gf/Talk to Friends/Forums/etc. Swim took his first dose (20mg) about 6 hours. Swim was just messing around online waiting for it to kick in. He wasn't feeling much after about an hour so he decided to snort 5mg and pop 10mg. All of this was off a 20mg pill. After swim finished his paper he smoked a bowl of Sour Lemon and snorted the remaining 5mg about half an hour ago. Feeling pretty damn good.

So do swiy know when I should start expecting a crash/comedown? Swim plans on visiting his gf later tonight at work, and would like to know how long he should stay.

And swim didn't know about the absorption. Swim had a bowl of cereal about half an hour before he took his first dose. He wanted to at least have something in his body for his stomach since he wouldn't be hungry later due to adderall. Guess that explains why swim wasn't feeling much from the first dose. He had originally only planned on doing 20mg. lol

eating is definitely a good idea, if swiy has nothing but acidic food then taking a tums to reduce acidity is a good option adderall does btw build effects rather slowly which might have been part of the reason swiy didn't feel much at first, this is good however in that the effects reduce quite slowly also leaving a comedown almost non existent for lower doses which brings me to your question, 4-5 hours after taking the final dose will be when a crash/comedown can be expected, a small amount can be taken to prolong this, however this will also make the crash more and more noticeable. On one or two doses in a day typically the crash for swim feels happy and floaty, but most definitely less quick in the thinking department- 3 doses can sometimes be associated with a bit of anxiety, though not always (depends on set/setting) -- keep in mind if swiy was tired prior to taking the adderall, swiy will likely be tired after, this isn't a crash so much as just swiy's mind returning to normal (but might be unenjoyable anyway)

It is actually recommended to eat before using most stimulants. Eating will serve for energy. what he mant was nothing acidic. bit neutral things is great!

infact, not eating for a while before using stimulants can screw up the whole high.

i know a guy who took adderall the week of OGT's (ohio graduation test, all ohio students are required to pass 5 areas to graduate HS. extremely important and moderately challenging), and scored Accelerated (the highest rank possible) on every single test. extremely helpful with learning, i hear.
