Experiences - Zanaflex (Tizanidine)

Zanaflex is the best sleep aid I've ever taken. It's a muscle relaxer and it cured my fibromyalgia, which was brought on by not being able to get a restorative sleep. It puts you in a deep, restorative dream-filled sleep for about 4 hours straight and then you wake up. The best thing about it is that you do not build up a tolerance for it. It's the only thing I've taken that does not build up a tolerence (and I've taken about everything else). If after 4 hours you decide you want to sleep longer, take another.

The only downside to this medication is that when I first started taking it, it made me fatigued during the day, but after a while it no longer has that effect on me. I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful it is after so many years of restless nights of sleep to finally be able to drift off into that deep sleep again. It even knocks swim out after swim has binged on Adderall the night before. Has anyone else had a good experience with this medication?

By itself it isn't worth too much recreationally..it doesn't have skeletal muscle relaxant properties like other muscle relaxants. Good for a come down, though.
