Using the postal service really risky?

swim was reading some posts in the forum about the postal service and sending/recieving substances through it. Just a random thought came to mind...

if the reciever hypothetically used a fake name, surely they could simply deny any knowledge of any "wrong doing", or even being involved at all?

swim has studied basic law and is sure it could go no further...

opinions?
