Stored old AMT

SWIM was experiencing an old stored AMT(freebase, in liquid, badly stored BTW but just 3 months old)and found it having an almost completely different effect, in particular he found it beeing shorter in duration, still psychedelich but with much higher body load


also SWIM notices a nouxious smell from the solved AMT, that increases over time

this is confirmed by other researchers?
SWIM wonders if AMT, aging, becomes something else, still psychoactive, but a different chem, and maybe some toxic stuff??

Swim has some AMT obtained 6 months ago which has been kept in a prescription bottle. One day soon he will try it..hopefully it hasn't degraded too much.

I'm not sure what other chemicals it degrades into, but if the effects of the aged chemical are significantly different from what they were like when it was new I'd probably just throw it away. AMT is an intense and potentially injurious compound on its own, I wouldn't risk the unknown dangers of a warped supply.

SWIM has found AMT powder to keep well and maintain potency in spite of a gradual color change if kept cool, dark and sealed from air. It is a smelly compound in general. However, in water compounds can degrade far more rapidly. Perhaps this is what happened.

the only batch SWIM has experience with is not very smelly at all - its strange since people told him to watch out for that characteristic indole stench (ie you know what it smells like!)-

but this batch was produced from a very reliable source and others who have had AMT before have said it is VERY potent - yet it does not smell -

it is a white, square, crystaline freebase-

SWIM's amt is like you descripted in powder form:
SWIM saw either freebase and HCL, both with no odour(maybe freebase a bit, but not much noticeable)
cristalline, and completely white HCL, slightly yellow the freebase

when its in powder form no odour
but if mixed to liquids,after about a week, SWIM notices a strong smell growing over time.

a strange chemical smell... i wonder if it is now another chemical insted of AMT...since SWIM's effects were much tryptamine like, but after 3-4 hours of peak it, the experience is much more sleepy

SWIM also tried the AMT powder stored and found it 'AMT like'
