What is your favourite tryptamine research chemical?

Please describe why you value this tryptamine research chemical the most, what dose SWIY took and what duration and effect it had on SWIY.

swim hasnt tried a whole lot of tryptamine research chemical, maybe a total of 5 but his favorite it 4-ho-mipt so far. swim finds about 16-17 mg to be a perfect dose. swim has gone as high as 22mg which he thought to be a little too much. At 16mg swim gets nice visuals, enhanced thinking, and incredible euphoria. At 20 or higher it starts to become more fully imersed and less controllable. swim finds that useful occasionally but 16mg to be incredibly enjoyable.

^^^ as for duration, it usually last about 4 hours for swim. swim is unable to sleep untill about 8 hours after dosing usually. swim takes all his chemicals in a capsule so that usually delays onset about an hour.

This isn't a very creative answer... but my pets find 4-AcO-DMT difficult to beat. And almost ridiculously easy to fall in love with.

Also, my pets use capsules for such things and find they do not delay the onset of symptoms by very much... most gel capsules are designed to burst open in the stomach in under 5 minutes time. Of course 4-AcO takes its sweet time to kick in anyway.

interesting, swim found 4-ho-mipt to kick in at about 30-40 min without capsules, but up to 2 hours with. 2c-x's seem to take over 2 with capsules for swim.

SWIM has try a lot of syntheticals and naturals tryptamines.
some of his favourites :

Psylocin (4-HO-DMT) + psylocibin (4-PO-DMT)

SWIM really love shrooms because of the natural aspect compared to other tryptamines, wich give to the trip a special aspect that he never felt with RCs (too long to describe here).
also SWIM can grow them himself or pick them himself, wich create a personnal relationship between SWIM and his drug.

SMOKED DMT (freebase) / 5-MeO-DMT (freebase) / 5-OH-DMT (Ca salt)

Also present in nature, although in a different form.
The very strong, short lasting effect when smoked is what i like in these compounds, leading me to use them more often than other tryptamines. but if i had the time, i would chose either a different route of administration, using imao; or another tryptamine

My favourite RC, i like to snort it little by little, taking very small doses but redosing often (not a recommanded route but i've experienced this one quite a lot)

SWIM has to concur. 4acoMIPT and 4hoMIPT are probably #1 on the list. SWIM has not tried 4acoDMT, so maybe is missing something, but compared to mushrooms, SWIM likes 4acoMIPT better. Psilocybes are more distracting and neutral in feeling, 4acoMIPT is much friendlier, more social and happy, but it maintains the serious psychedelic effects of psilocibin/psilocin. At higher doses it is a serious psychedelic. It also has less confusion associated with it. SWIM feels very focused on this substance, whereas mushrooms cause some degree of confusion. SWIM usually doses btwn 15-20 mg.
SWIM likes 5meoMIPT as a close second for different reasons. Very stimulating, prosexual and less psychedelic, it has many of the characteristics of 5meoDIPT with less side-effects. It has a more serious psychedelic effect at higher doses (15mg), yet is light and recreational in the lower dosage range of 5-8 mg. Very versatile material.

Definitely 4-aco-mipt. Not just swim's favorite tryp, but favorite chem in general.

Dose: 16 mg
Duration: 9ish hours
Effect: Fantastic visuals, strong body high, migraine cure, great feeling of being in an alien world with intensified colors like green and purple, and a lot of small 'stories' going on everywhere swim looked. A great migraine treatment plus incredibly fun.

according to swim's notes 4-ho-mipt is simply amazing (as bhmoab1 and others said), its fresh with a mushrooms like energy and visuals comparable to lsd- lasts around 4-6 hours and is definitely swim's favorite research chemical all around (and swim has tried quite a few-) 5-meo-mipt (as snapper mentioned) is also rather enjoyable, although more in the having fun sense than the psychedelic. It lasts closer to 4 hours and is very warm/happy, kinda like the tryptamine's mdma but far far less powerful -- seems like tryptamines have a fairly specific following unlike phenethylamines which can be all over the place

Swim has numerous experience with a variety of RC's and would have to say that he enjoys 5-MEO-MIPT the most. It has the most flexibility of an RC, thus making it the most user friendly.

According to swim, it can be used in the lower does (2-10ish mg) and act as a mild stimulant and act as a very light version of MDMA. At larger doses it can used as a mild psychedelic (mileage varies from person to person so SWIM hears), but nothing overwhelming. The visuals are very subtle (slight breathing/mild distortions) and at higher doses are accompanied with an enhancement to music and body/mental euphoria. Swim says duration is generally 3-5 hours, with after effects lasting up to maybe 12.

No, kyleguy would never do such a thing, and SWIM says he hasn't either. It was always one which he wanted to try and before its emergency schedule back in 2003, he had an opportunity to try it, but passed up on it, which he now regrets. It's one of the select few tryptamines (and RC's for that matter) that he has not experienced.

He imagines it would be one of his most favorite RC's as he typically likes RC's that provide euphoria,visuals, and a "sexual" energy the most. Lots of people complain about body load, but SWIM loves it. If the body load isn't TOO extreme, it feels as if he is having an orgasm throughout his whole body for an extended period of time ! Also, he thinks they are the most user friendly, as they don't have extreme visuals, but rather minor/moderate visuals accompanied with euphoria. It is hard to have a bad experience with a type of drug like this SWIM says, that is, when taken in moderate doses.

4ho-mipt. 4aco-dmt a close second. DMT is in class all by it's self, but it's not really a RC.

Swim knows he is in a distinct minority here, but SWIM really finds great rewards in 2C-I.... At 20-25mg, Swim will have attain smooth liftoff in 45min / a nice come up to plateau which lasts 2 1/2 to 4hrs, and then an easy smooth 3hr wind down that always has Swim feeling rejuvinated and refreshed.... Oh, and Swim has noted that about 1 out of 4 times he doses, he will flirt with, or attain that magical plus 4 Shulgin specified Nirvana.....

SWIM has tried every RC on the list other than the DET or DALT but SWIM has chosen 4-ho-MIPT for SWIM's favorite tryptamine RC. This is due to the highly active nature of this component. It is by far the strongest mentally and visually that Swim has experienced and it is a great RC for both beginner at doses from 17-20mgs and all the way to 40mgs for those who really want to delve deep into psychedelia. While the psilocyn aspects can still be seen this compound has exceeded SWIM's expectation in potency and would eat this over Mushrooms any day of the week.

4-ACO-DMT would be SWIM's second choice because it too is a very nice compound but SWIM found high dose trips no more intense than his medium ones, except in length

5-MEO-DIPT would be number one on SWIM's Tryptamine RCs but did not see it up there.

I wasn't sure if you figured out how to do this, but if this can't be extended, in my opinion, 5-meo-mipt or 5-meo-dipt should replace 5-meo-dalt.
