Addicted to snorting pain killers

So SWIM has been doing pain killers for about 2 years now... about 10 months ago SWIM started to Snort them now that is the only way SWIM does them.

SWIM does not think he does it for the high anymore its just the act snorting something, he is addictated to the way it feels at least SWIM thinks.

ANYONE KNOW ANYONE that feels the same way? Maybe a Friend of a friend?
Or is SWIM just wierd? lol

Swim knows exactly what you mean. Swim's now at 72hrs. clean of opiates, and while he misses the high, he also misses snorting. So far swim hasn't craved an oxy yet, but he definately was craving sniffing something so while at a buddy's house swim had him break out a couple lines of cola. Swim didn't want to do any more than that because he was on DXM. Swim DOES NOT reccomend any other swimmers try that combo period! But back on the subject yes swim also enjoys rollin the bill up,cutting the straw, breaking it down etc.

Dextromethorphan (DXM) mixed with other cardio-stimulants like cocaine, amphetamine, etc. - can kill you. Blow your heart muscle out. Dead monkey.

No swims experienced in most drugs, and knows that mixing the 2 together is NOT a good thing to do! Swim is just out of it because of the opiate W/d plus under the influence of DXM! Also swim knows coricidin CCC's are very dangerous! In his younger years around the age of 16 swim was trippin CCC's' and one of his friends went into seizures right in front of swim whilst trippiiinnnn! Definately not a good experience! Swim didn't take DXM after that for about 2 years. Then swim found a product called Delsym which contains nothing but dextromethorphan. Swim only trips about 3 times a year on a pure dxm product. Right now swims just focussing on kickin this opiate habit for good! Swim appreciates that others care for his well-being!!!

^^ Back on topic, this is absolutely normal, when a monkey is addicted to a drug, he is also addicted to its route of administration, and often looks for other drugs that are suitable for that way.

That's why many heroin addicts inject sometimes plain water and that's why some people smoke green tea.

It could be a psychological association. Swiy's mind associates the feeling of railing a pill with the high that swiy gets, therefor swiy likes the feeling of railing a pill.
Swims never really enjoyed the feeling of blowing oxycodone. Feeling it hit the back of swims throat and not to mention the drip. But once swim started railing pills instead of swallowing them, swim never went back.

If you need something to keep your nose a snorting while trying to abstain from the 'hard' stuff. One could always pick up some good ol' tobacco snuff. Will rot your nose a bit with its delicious menthol, possibly some cancer, but its legal... I actually really enjoy some good snuff, too bad its almost impossible to find in the US.
