Experiences - Seeing cartoon characters?

Swim is curious this one friend swim has tried acid once and told swim that he experienced seeing cartoons walking around and really scared him. Swim would like to know if anyone has ever experience such visuals. Sorry if this has been asked or if it sounds greatly vague. Could this in fact happen being under the influence of acid or is this just a myth?

SWIM has never had a real hallucinations on acid neither on mushrooms, just distorsions of reality and ilusions.

People on acid usually can tell what's real and what's not, unlike people on deliriants, but bad trips can still happen to the inexperienced user overwhelmed for the experience. An acid trip is a lot more than visuals, SWIM is more afraid of bad thoughts than he is of evil visuals. He often enjoys how people get a demonic expression, but can't stand bad memories of past events, thoughts of daily problems....

Approach acid with respect read on perfect set and setting and get a trusted sitter.

2cb (closed eye visuals) has cartooning described by some she has yet to explore that thou.
swia has seen little (closed eyed visuals) dancing characters that looked like elves on moderatly high psilocybin doses. not actual open eye visuals jus distortations and wonderous colorful vibes and visuals the odd breathing sofa..

swim finds that the only times he has had hallucinations of the cartoony sort were when he had his eyes closed on mdma+psilocybin or with ketamine.

Swim and her SO experienced ridiculously cool cartooning with DOM, and a fairly low dose at that. This wasn't seeing cartoons that just weren't there, but the images around them, trees and people and whatnot, all looked like cartoon versions of what they really were (well swim guesses that's pretty much the definition of cartooning)

Sounds a bit like the apocryphal, "I know someone who took LSD and saw Mickey Mouse." The same person probably jumped out of the window because they thought they could fly!

SWIM did visualize reems of discount stamps from his local supermarket once-- it was tedious not scary.

Yes swim has seen a good deal of ridiculous graffiti cartoon characters under the influence of DOM. Never from LSD but both DOM and DOC seem to have a good bit of cartooning.
