Opinions - With whom and how long to wait:

Hello! This is my first post on here so hopefully no screw-ups.

SWIM has two questions today. Question first and then the background/why SWIM has the question after.

1. Would waiting two weeks after stopping Effexor cold turkey limit SWIM's ability to feel LSD? or should SWIM wait longer?

SWIM takes 112.5 mg of Effexor per day and has been doing this since about June. SWIM is MORE than happy to cold turkey the drug as SWIM feels as if it isn't helping profoundly and would really like to dive deeper into a newly found world of substances. SWIM also isn't much afraid of a "bad" trip - SWIM might be documenting the experience and reading whatever they have written will be appreciated after the fact.

2. Would it be wiser for SWIM to take LSD with a friend, hanging out with a group of people that SWIM doesn't know very well but is the friend's brother's friends who SWIM knows well. SWIM is comfortable with the brother, but only somewhat of the friends of the brother. OR-should SWIM stick with SWIM's friends who would (probably) try and help if something bad was happening but wouldn't be happy about it?

As said, SWIM is NOT afraid of a bad trip but is a little bit anxious if their friends might be. SWIM will be taking the LSD with up to 8 (very good) friends, but only one other friend will be dropping the acid. The others are straight edge and against doing drugs though they won't preach.

swim would recommend tripping with the people that swiy is most comfortable with.
swim finds that smaller numbers are better, although if swiy wishes to go with a larger group, make sure swiy is able to leave the group and chill out somewhere.

Bear in mind that the seortonergic and noradrenergic antidepressants have a long washout period. 2 weeks might be enough, but my flamingo would wait at least a month.
