Hi,
I found this plant from Potential and Confirmed Psychedelics and in spring, it grows everywhere in my homeland. Can it produce a pleasent intoxication? Anyone experienced with this plant? Jarka |

its common in northeastern US too. (New York) is it native to estonia or all over europe?

I think that all over Europe.
I know it's poisonous but as I said in my first post, I found it from this Potential And Confirmed Psychedelics list, so I asked from here. |

Often the word "posionous" or "toxic" is used in when the plant is know to be pshchoactive, it is an attempt to discourge use. I have an herb book by Rodells and it lists Cannabis as "toxic" with a red skull and crossbones. I am only suggesting that plants in some books with the "posionous" or "toxic" lables may be the ones worth doing some more research on(reading). I have no idea why C. majalis is listed on a site for psychoactive
plant users. While it is of course completely legal, its active ingredients are so-called cardiac glycosides (i.e. convallotoxin). These digitalis-like toxins won't make you high, but instead cause (sometimes fatal) irregularities in heart rhythm. Quote:
