Crack smoking method

When can I tell to change the screen? Is it better to use a lot or a
little screen? Has anybody tried any other brands besides choreboy? I saw some
steel, rather then copper choreboy, are those better? And what's up
with putting cig ashes in? Why not a joint ash? What's the purpose?
What's the best heat source? I've been told a little heat and a slow
draw is best, but more heat gives a more intense hit. Any suggestions
on how to make it last longer, get higher, or get a more powerful hit?</span></span>

Start by getting good coke.

Ash is not necessary and is only used if you DON'T
have a screen.

Your basic disposable lighter should be sufficient
heat source. A lot of them are cheap and quality
varies from lighter to lighter, so test each one for
ease of use and height of flame before buying. If the
flame is small (1/2 inch high), don't buy.

A one inch flame is perfect.

ALWAYS use copper brillo. Cut a section out, then
heat it with a lighter to burn off all of the factory
impurities on the metal. You will be able to see and
smell them as they burn away.

The screen should be about 3/4 inch long (after
packed) in a standard stem (glass with 1/2 inch O/D,
-outside diameter).

The best push stick is a metal rod because it
scrapes well, too. But you can cut section from a wire
hanger as a push.

Use a dental pick as a screen remover.
When it gets hard to draw a newly loaded hit, you
may find it useful to remove the screen and break it
up, then reload the screen and hit.

It might surprise you to discover how much resin is
left over, and pins or tacks can also be used to help
loosen a tightly bundled (or otherwise clogged)
screen.

If you REALLY want to get more out of your smoke
then take large hits and exhale into a plastic bag to
save as next hit.Edited by: woodman

I've been using the stainless for about 5 years no problems. It doesn't get as tight and compacted together like the copper. Burn baby burn !!!!

When you are using brillo, hold it onto a knife or something of that
sort and burn the shit out of it. the impurities will burn away and
leave you with a black ball. wash off the ball with some water or
whatever and let it dry. this is fine to use to smoke.

No problem man,Also for an alternative to glass ,you can use a tire pressure gage.Just make sure you clean it good before using!
