Netherlands - Good Deals In Amsterdam

Hey,
SWIM has lived in The Netherlands and he has also been to the Dam on visits while living here in Ireland. Now personally SWIM thinks a lot of the stuff in Amsterdam is overpriced. This is more evident when you live or have lived in The Netherlands. SWIM always travel to the Hague regardless when he goes to The Netherlands (for the decent deals and Warlock! from Koffie and Dromen)

Anyway...

SWIM is going to the Dam in December and he was hoping someone can help him. What places offer good deals on weed, like X amount of grams for x euros. It's not only quantity for money he wants, quality is very important too.

The reason he is asking is because it's easy to blow a lot of money in Amsterdam on bud and hash, and honestly he can't afford it (plus he's done it too many times in the past)

So what coffeeshops offer what decent deals? Let SWIM know please

SWIM went to Amsterdam recently and visited Stix on Utrechtsestraat on several occasions seeing as it was near his hostel in the south-east of the city center. According to their website which can be found easily on Google, they have another store on Korte Koningsstraat and it's mapped out.

It's a nice little spot. They don't play the thrashy dance music you hear pumping in some of the more commercialised coffeeshops, they mostly play jazz which is a refreshing change. Everything is weighed out in front of you, right down to the 0.01g. They do a discount, 10% I think, for buying 5g at a time. Good menu, everything they sell is of decent quality although it's probably not as diverse a list as in other coffeeshops.

A few other nice coffeeshops include The Greenhouse which has a great menu and information about cannabinoid levels in their strains. Barney's is a nice spot too. You can find all of these on Google easily enough.

Swim is just back from the Dam today. Stix is a nice spot alright, there are two of them though....i only made it to one of them but i presume the other is good too. The rokerij has a decent menu, cant remember the prices properly. There is a nice place called "wonder bar" which is near "the doors" coffeeshop....wonder bar does'nt sell cannabis but its cool to smoke your own stuff in their an chill out with a beer, they have big hookahs on the tables too. So if you've gear and dont wanna go to another coffeeshop to smoke id recommend it. Blues Brothers had some nice award winning weed strains and a decent hashish menu.

if you want to buy a lot of weed then you will have to go from shop to shop.
you are not supposed to have more than 5g on your person at any time and that is the most they will sell you, unless you get lucky.
If your with friends you can always ask for a deal on buying for you all.
My best suggestion is to go outside the city, better prices and more relaxed.
The city is full of tourists and people looking to make a killing on weed prices.
I spent a few weeks in Holland visiting friends and even though i love Amsterdam the Real coffeshop experience is to be had elsewhere.
