Circles of Red Light - an Ayahuasca Vision

As the trance took effect, I began to see a circle of red light, from which were emanating circular waves. I soon found myself traveling through what appeared to be a dotted tunnel, which was turning upwards into an unknown circular area. I came to realize that those dots were in fact stars, but I seemed to be traveling at lightning speed, hence the illusion.

Along the way there were some beings watching over me with great curiosity, but I just ignored them. Soon, as the tunnel ended, I saw a diamond-shaped rectangle with a circle inside, which then morphed into a golden-colored eye shape. Later, I was to find out that it was a portal.

When I eventually entered the Golden Eye portal, I began to see many stars, as I flew all around the area. Soon enough, I saw a dense cluster of stars transform into a spiraling vortex. The vortex started to slow down and I entered into it. Throughout my visions, I would enter these vortexes and be transferred to different realms.

In one of my experiences I saw a lush green world with many light-filled people, levitating/floating, happy and harmoniously organized. They asked me to join with them, which I did, and I saw myself being surrounded by white light. Soon afterwards, there began heavy rainfalls, which caused major floods all over the beautiful area. There was no possible escape. I then envisioned a great solar cataclysm, which had a major impact on the earth’s dynamics: violent waves, major destructions. Suddenly I was warped into a place that had the ambience of ancient Egypt, and I found myself in a tunnel that was flooded with muddy brown water. I then saw a golden boat appearing, in which one of the Egyptian gods was traveling, along with his consort. I ignored him at first, but then became curious about him. I went back over to talk to him and there was some telepathic communication between us. Although I can’t recall his name, I think what I heard was “Ra”. Nevertheless, He seemed to be quite pleased with this event occurring in the world. Eventually, he turned into a golden snake and gave me a very long golden chain, and as soon as I held it I was again transported back into the flooded region, where I observed huge ice caps everywhere. Then, I was transported back into the starry skies with their numerous vortexes.

After entering another vortex, I was taken into a dark palace-like area where I saw a spirit being who indicated that I should follow it. This was an indescribable experience, whose visual aspects are almost impossible to convey verbally. It was like a roller-coaster ride, and the spirit was not easy to catch up with. Occasionally, I would see large luminous walls covered with all sorts of mathematical symbols, letters and numbers. In one dimension, I also saw a gigantic wheel with many astrological constellations, not just the twelve that we have here on earth but also probably those that have influences on other planets or other planes of existence.

Still following the spirit being, I occasionally found myself traveling through many abstract-looking areas. On one occasion, I saw some gigantic smiling heads; telepathically, I got the sense that they were some super-genius minds that were, to some extent at least, in control of the universe. Finally, I sensed that the spirit was trying to tell me something, and I understood that it was trying to show me the grand majesty of the universe; it was trying to tell me to escape from my limited perceptions and look beyond the trivial affairs of everyday, ordinary existence. I came out of that dimension with a big smile on my face…

In my travels to other vortexes, I heard very beautiful music, and beings would try to talk to me. Some communicated telepathically, while others would actually speak out loud. In some dimensions I would see alien beings and disfigured creatures with horrifying faces, but I showed a lack of interest in them and they did not bother me further. Clearly, I was not a wanted visitor there.

I remember asking the inhabitants of one dimension about certain people in my life, and my questions were answered. Those beings did not give very convincing answers, but they seemed to be correct about what they said. Maybe I was expecting too many details.

I also decided to play some songs to see what experiences would result. I played a romantic song and found myself surrounded by some women with a very serpentine feeling and appearance. They were gorgeous and also very pleasant to me. I felt they wanted to go further and seduce me, but I didn’t feel like staying there any longer, so I returned to the starry skies.

I then played a religious chant and this caused me to enter into a beautiful temple near a lake. My presence here was much appreciated and people welcomed me with open arms, inviting me to join in and chant with them. The area was filled with lush green hills with beautiful flowers and the weather was very pleasant. Transcending to the skies, there was a beautiful strong light emanating from the ether.

When I finally opened my eyes, I could feel a slight tremor in my body and there was energy shooting up from the bottom of my spine. This energy, known as Kundalini Shakti, was traveling to the top of my head and I could hear a ‘whooooosh’ sound. I have had prior experiences with Kundalini energy and I firmly believe that this is the energy responsible for giving us the experiences that occur during Ayahuasca trips.

As Bikelbees has noted, this isn't specifically incriminating, but make sure you're very familiar with the rules anyhow.

Can SWIY elaborate on what he takes as the significance of these journeys, beyond being shown the majesty of the universe? SWIY describes a lot of his visions in great detail, but I'd be very interested to read more specifically about what was going on his inside his head, how his mentality and ability to process the information he was receiving was different, and how SWIY was able to integrate everything when he returned.

Going through a portal can be a complicated journey; so many unknown factors may exist. While traveling, so much can be happening in the environment that it’s usually hard to be focused. At that moment one can only wait for something to happen, so there usually is not much left there to think about. 'What’s going on?' can be a frequent question running in the background during trips. But because there may not be full control over the situation, there's not much that can be done but just to wait and see what happens. It can get very annoying at times, so it’s important to be patient.

It’s difficult to state the significance of the visions because they may not have a specific purpose in itself but just by seeing reality in a different light a lot of mental barriers can be broken. For some it may be amazing and for some very disturbing.
Traveling in the astral/subtle body, the way one receives information there is different. Sense faculties in the physical body have control over experiences in the physical plane, but the astral body has its own sense faculty, but it's always been difficult to fully and accurately describe the nature of its biology. Intuitive faculties do play a big role in receiving information.

One may not remember everything during trips; therefore, it is always useful to have a notebook nearby so at the end of the trip one can briefly write down what happened.

A little excerpt from another vision suggests:
“Scales covered all four angles of the narrow region. Spectacular dances of light followed. Then in the midst of the night on the throne of the pyramid were the royal couple. Grand feasts, fireworks, massive celebrations, such that even all the kings of this world put together cannot afford.”

Remember friends, these are lower realms. They are divine in their own right, yet, they’re of the lower regions of human divinity. It is always good to have some experience/knowledge about them, but they’re not divine in the Holy sense. Please understand this; it’s the most important point. The human potential for transcendence and divinity lie in the chambers of one’s heart.
