Priapism and Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds

Swim has had 4 experiences with woodrose seeds( 2 decent and 2 worthless). On the good ones swim says it feel like a really good roll but found a problem: a minor case priapism. Swim found a nice girl to get some alone time with but when intercourse started swim found the erection painful and it also wouldnt go away even without stimulation. It didnt last over 4 hours(probably more like 10-20 min) but swim finds this weird. Any others swimmers have a similar experience? The only thing swim could figure is the the vascular constriction wouldnt allow blood to leave his dick. As for the pain, WTF?

If veins are constricted along with arteries, they are more likely to back up first. This would slow drainage of blood back to central circulation and consequently prevent the erection from clearing. Sorta like a cock ring...

This was a few months back and swim has changed meds so much lately its hard to remember but probably 75mg of trazodone nightly(not that night) and ~1200mg of gabapentin a day.

Trazodone has been associated with the occurrence of priapism. In approximately 33% of the cases reported, surgical intervention was required and, in a portion of these cases, permanent impairment of erectile function or impotence resulted. Male patients with prolonged or inappropriate erections should immediately discontinue the drug and consult their physician. If the condition persists for more than 24 hours, it would be advisable for the treating physician to consult a urologist or appropriate specialist in order to decide on a management approach. Recent clinical studies in patients with pre-existing cardiac disease indicate that trazodone may be arrhythmogenic in some patients in that population. Arrhythmias identified include isolated PVC's, ventricular couplets, and in 2 patients short episodes (3 to 4 beats) of ventricular tachycardia. There have also been several post-marketing reports of arrhythmias in trazodone-treated patients who have pre-existing cardiac disease and in some patients who did not have pre-existing cardiac disease. Until the results of prospective studies are available, patients with pre-existing cardiac disease should be closely monitored, particularly for cardiac arrhythmias. Trazodone is not recommended for use during the initial recovery phase of myocardial infarction.

im assuming the effects of both the HBWR and the trazadone combined is what caused this.im assuming you never had any problems on just trazadone with priapism?

No probs with traz alone. Also swiy beat me to it. That was the post swim was about to make. Now that swim is of traz he kind of wants to try WDS again if it wasnt for the nausia and insomina it caused but still maybe then post a TR.

SWIM has had the oposite problem with HBWR extract. In fact, he has found this potion to impair his ability to have an erection.

HBWR is a vascular constrictor. Think opioids. There isnt enough blood flowing to swiy gentials to get it up.

Edit: in swims case once the blood when in, it became trapped and the pressure caused pain. Pot also could have been attributed apparently.

Other causes of priapism include:

• Trauma to the spinal cord or to the genital area
• Black widow spider bites
• Carbon monoxide poisoning
• Illicit drug use, such as marijuana and cocaine
