Review Glass bubbler & bong

I'm going to talk about two pieces my pet dragon has, seen in the attached photo. As you can see, they both need cleaning :P

Bubbler: A pretty straightforward water piece, lots of pretty designs, very portable (easily fits in a coat pocket, although care must be taken to keep it upright in the pocket or one will spill water inside their coat). This was made by a glass artist so it's not mass-produced or anything, but comments about this will probably translate to similar sized and shaped bubblers. One thing my dragon likes a lot about this bubbler is the resin buildup. At first this seemed like a flaw. After a month or two of using, he couldn't get much smoke to come through and all hits were quite small. A cleaning is necessary, he concluded. But on a whim, he decided to try smoking the piece with nothing packed in the bowl. By pulling very hard and continuously lighting, he got a surprising amount of smoke. Aha, a resin hit! He continued, and got almost 25 large resin hits! He was really, really stoned. And after this, the bubbler pulled fine again. A month later, he was able to repeat.

Pros:
- large enough to provide big, but filtered and easy on the throat hits
- small enough to be portable
- cool designs/artwork
- stands on its own
- large bowls last a looong time
- great for resin hits

Cons:
- can get clogged easily (but as said above, this is not necessarily a flaw)
- a little annoying to fill up


Bong: this is your classic mini-bong. Very portable for a bong, easily carried in even a small backpack. Can get quite big rips, but the bowls last a lot longer than with larger bongs. Not too much to say about this one.

Pros:
- (somewhat) portable
- it's a bong!
- bowls don't disappear in 5 hits like bigger bongs

Cons:
- not quite as fun as a big bong
- looks ugly when not clean
