how many hits come in a sheet or does it vary?

a vial is 100 "hits" (actually a vile is 10mg diluted down with alcohol or water)

and a jug is 1 gram of pure lsd crystal diluted down with water or alcohol. (most commonly distilled water) and 1 gram is aproximately 10,000 hits.

hmm.. I've heard of "page" being around 1000 hits (one full page of
blotter paper) and book being several thousand hits, consisting of two
or more pages. Well, it is such a rare sight that I don't really know
if it matters.

It varies- and there are generalizations.

Generally, a sheet is 100 hits.
A page is generally 900 hits due to the most common perf block used - 1/4 inch squares... Swims turtle is Just home from work and a bit frazzled so blanking on exact dimensions of a page - 7 1/2 by 9 inches or something? Some designs also produce a 9X, the main design repeated 9 times and the smaller image then provides the extra 100 "hits" to make up a "true" page of 1000 hits or 1/10 gram raw crystal laid at approx 100 micrograms. Otherwise a portion of a sheet is used...
A book or a bible is then 10 pages + whatever is needed to make up the remainder equalling 1 gram of raw lsd.

But swims turtle has seen various numbers based on different perf blocks. One of swims turtles farovorites of all time where the "album Covers" - associated with Leonard Pickard. They were 2 "sheets" of very large hits featuring the album artwork of mouse kelley, 48 hits per design so 96 total between the two "sheets". there were 12 album covers per sheet, each comprised of 4 "hits" 1/2 inch squares if memory serves.
Some of the most beautiful artwork swims turtle ever saw, possibly the best LSD swims turtle ever handled, and laid to at least 180 mics per dose.
