Crystal MDMA in capsule?

SWIM and some friends bought 3 caps of MDMA at a Psytrance party. Two capsules had fine MDMA powder while another contained the powder plus some "shards" of crystal. Does the complete crystal signify better purity?

I believe so. Used to have bags of the crystal stuff 15 years ago. Might be different now though.

yeah is could be meth. the majority of mdma is cut with some sort of stimulant, and capsules would make it especially easy for anyone who handled them to cut it again.

if the dealer says each capsule contains a certain weight of mdma, the presence of crystals shouldn't make any difference should it ? :/
how fine is the powder in the other capsules? in any case when swim has used two credit cards to crush a small crystal he gets a fine powder...

was wondering if i could add a question to the topic:
-swim put a certain mg of mdma in 2 distinct capsules, one was .14 the other just under .07 (wieghed out himself)
-the larger one gave him a slight buzz then he took the smaller one about 1 hour later and within 25 min he got the proper come up feeling

his mdma is almost definitely diluted, but he was wondering if it's possible the density of the good stuff varies in the same wrap? or is it just that it somehow took him over an hour to properly feel the effects of the larger capsule?

Powder comes from crystals that have been crushed in some fashion. Sat upon. Rollers. So forth. Usually to reduce bulk for transport.

It's probably the same stuff, just the dealer didn't crushed the crystals good enough in the last capsule or just got lazy.

The dealers in question are somewhat iconic figures in the local Psytrance scene, affectionately refered to as the Uncles. Their stuff is reputably pure MDMA without adulterants, although unfortunately relatively lowish dosage so two caps is normally required.
