Question Nootropics - U.K legality and drug combinations?
Alright guys, I really need some help. I've just started a 2 year course at college (Horticulture, hopefully get me a job with Sensi seeds ) and my brain is sadly (probably), shot to shit. I need information on all the brain enhancing Nootropic drugs I can possibly get and they need to be freely/legally available within the U.K.

I take a daily dose of B6, Zinc, Magnesium and 5-HTP so am curious if for some reason any of these Nootropics shouldn't be combined with these substances. I also drink alcohol, (but would stop if need be) so please warn of any possibly dangers with mixing Nootropics with booze.

Thus far I am only aware of Piracetam, it's on my list. What else can be legally added, preferably without a prescription?

good question sky walker - i too have been trying to find out piracetam status in the UK with no luck so far - i see nutrition websites in the US selling 700g tubs - is this a waste of time buying as customs will seize it?

Piracetam while a Prescription only medicine in the UK it CAN be imported. Quite a few online bodybuilding type retail sites sell it and SWIF has sucessfully gained it without incident. While it is quite a grey area in the law, it appears it is legal to buy but not to sell on.

i also take 5-htp, omega3 and st john wort daily - to be honest this doesn't seem to do a great deal, perhaps less stressed out and quite a bit mellower than i used to be - but at my age , i want to enhance my failing faculties.

i will order piracetam to try it but like Skywalker, im concerned if theres any interactions to watch out for - does it really do what it says on the tin to quote ronseal - how good is it? any info would be appreciated

O.k, got my piracetam sorted, from what I can gather it seems piracetam is totally legal in the U.K. Now my daily intake of brain food will consist of: B6, Zinc, Magnesium, 5-HTP, Piracatam, Inositol + Choline, Omega 3s + 6s', Ginkgo Biloba and Evening Primrose oil.

Does anyone have any other suggestion to add to the list?

This current regime, lasting only a week has already had a noticable effect on increasing concentration/attention, motivation, dream + name recall, overall memory and general learning. There is roughly (such a rough estimate) a 97% decrease in stumbling with language during conversations (which I was terrible for). E.g. Saying fridge when you mean freezer or pizza when you mean lasagna. Also, I feel I'm saying, "what?" a lot less often.

It works, yay!

Piracetam is quite the potentiator, for most drugs I think, I'm just gonna gently feel it out, it's a relativly safe drug anyway.

SWIF will be trying piracetam with MDMA next weekend and then a couple of days later with a tryptamine. Will post reports on both.

well, SWIM is now one week into piracetam regime and not a great deal to report. Dose has been 4.5g per day (3 doses) and despite a few 'up' moments, nothing much to report.

last night tried 6g 'attack dose' after reading somewhere online that it is required to get an effect with no problems.

SWIM suspects it might take a long time to see any improvement in memory - mind you, SWIM has 700g of the stuff so plenty of doses ahead

One good thing it seems to be the lack of toxicity, so nothing ventured, nothing gained!

oh should have said that SWIM now also taking 650mg tab of choline bitartrate too - a bit miffed to find out this is the wrong one to get for potentiation still SWIM has them so might as well use it

SWIM's monkey was out at weekend and had a single puff on his 'herbal pipe '...whoa!! amazing time from very small amount - listening to Led Zep and getting colours/pictures in monkeys minds eye whilst pagey soloing - never ever had that before - monkey has had same source material for a very long while - only conclusion is the piracetam is having an BIG effect - SWIM has also cut out the stjohns wort - much better since then too

Good to hear swims monkey is having positive effects. I ceased my daily supplement regime for a few days and quickly noticed the re-occurance of stumbling with my words and the presence of a less stable mood.

yeah skywalker - Piracetam seems a good material. I see your using Inositol + Choline - have you done any research on this - as i said a while back i rushed into holland + barrett and bought the wrong stuff for potentiation (choline bitartrate according to what ive read is poor source i'm running around 3g a day piracetam with no headaches - i presume my acetylcholine levels are ok so might not need better source?

anyone else have any thoughts on this?

IM not sure which are best for potentiation, SWIF has always stuck with choline bitartrate and never had a headache yet with doses up to 4g of piracetam.
