SWIM made thereselves some weed butter with a dimebag of some reg and was baKED!.
swim put it in oatmeal with extra sugar
at first swim thought meh. this aint gonna work then swim started trippin .
from about 9pm till 3am swim was baked.
at one point swim was thinking they were in an all yellow room with long never ending walls. actually it was just swims friends living room. swim also listened to classic rock on the trip. swim was amazed at how much better it was than the normal rap swim listens too. CARAZZYYY STUFF!. swim even got in a "fight" yes physical and was imagining they were playing a video game. swim slammed the poor little guy. swim will NEVER well maybe never smoke weed again. EATING IT IS THE WAY TO GO

That little story was mildly confusing and not really enlightening. I suppose the real point of the thread, if one can be ascertained, is that you now prefer eating to smoking cannabis. Thus the line of discussion follows: Which method of consumption does Someone Who Isn't You prefer, and why?

In answer to this question I have to say that I have never tried cannabis, being totaly uninvolved with illegal activity, however I have had several good reports from friends who say that they enjoy eating it because the effects last for longer and it gives them a 'body high'. Others say that the intensity of smoked marijuana is much greater, especialy if combined with alcohol, and they also enjoy the lack of fuss and hassle that can be avoided if smoked.

SWIM told me that eating it works and butter is a great way of going about it, but the effects displayed in this thread are not consistent with what i have read and herd from others. SWIM also told me that smoking it would give much more of a quote "trippy" effect, and eating would give a body buzz. Either way you sound like you had fun after reading your post it seems like lsd butter and not cannabis, but since i've done neither i wouldn't really know

Swim's tried the cannabutter method and agrees that if it weren't for the prep time she would almost always eat cannabis instead of smoking it (except it ruins the whole chill smoking circle thing).

She used a quarter of decent weed, carefully sauteed it into her butter, strained out the remaining weed, then used it to make a small batch of brownies. Swim noticed a much stronger high, watching everyone in the room rock back and forth, and a visual fuzziness that before she actually tripped on anything she would have probably associated with tripping.

This was also great for a friend of hers who consistantly complained that he couldn't get high when smoking. Swim and her friends couldn't figure out if he wasn't inhaling deeply enough, holding in the smoke for long enough, or just didn't know what being high really felt like. After eating one of the brownies, he understood and hasn't had problems since.

Swim has also tried making cannabis tea, which tastes kind of strange but works equally well, producing a much longer and more pronounced high. She can't give a dosing for this because it was pretty random.

On a sidenote, Swim googled her weed dosage before posting to make sure she remembered her proportions correctly, and saw on another forum that someone had said, "Don't you people relize you could die from what your smoking, not to mention it's aganist the law."LOL

Dimebag according my dragon is usually between 0.8 and 1.0 grams

I've heard of people who carefully sift decarboxylized weed through a series of fine brass screens; the final screening is through a 40 grade screen (meaning a 40x40 mesh/sq.inch). The weed reportedly has a flour-like consistency. This is then mixed with just enough vegetable oil to make a stiff paste which can be put into gel-caps. Depending on the strength of the weed, a double 0 cap is enough for a nice long-lasting high, and much less fattening than a brownie.

My pet rabbit says that a dime bag, at least where he is from, refers to ten carrots worth of greenery. Most often, that's a gram, but can be anywhere from .5 for exotic strains to 1.3-1.8 for schwag. When the rabbit buys his herbs and intends on getting exactly a gram, he says he wants a gram. The weight of a 'dime' can vary a lot even in a small city.
