i've been smoking chronically for a year now and getting stoned is nothing like it used to be.. i smoke joints with friends and after the first doobie i'm as stoned as i'm gonna get and then smoking after that just becomes pointless and i get less high as time goes by... i get stoned for about 15 minutes now after a session... even after smoking 1/8th between two people i'll be sober in 20 minutes.. how long do you suggest taking a break for? i want to be able to get as high as i used to... will it ever be the same? |

Reggie- I would say that at least a month at least to get your tolerance down, but its gonna go right back up if you are a daily user. Its hard to get back the highs you had when you were a beginner, your body changes and doesnt allow you to have the same affects. I would suggest upping your product as well, possibly switch to other smokable products that are more potent (hash opium, etc) , i mean its just not possible to only be stoned for twenty minutes if you are hitting good chronic,i dont care if you are snoop dogg bro. Also, you might want to change the method, use bongs to get larger intake of thc. Also brownies are a great way to get you lifted, im sure you already tried this but its sure to work. And remember, always "just say no" to shwag. Keep us posted man.

good hash is so damn hard to get a hold of in this town. (kelowna) honestly, i can't get high anymore. i can smoke, like i said, 2.2 grams in a session and i'll start sobering up towards the end of the session.. it may be my attitude, i don't know. i've only made pot-cookies once but that was when we first started getting into it and had already smoked before eating...but i was ripped for a lot longer i'd say. good point on the bong thing -- i'll smoke a cannon to my dome and get less high then if i smoke 2 bowls out of my glass pipe |

has anyone noticed you get so much more ripped smoking weed by yourself than socially? that's what i find, i prefer it

i love smoking weed alone it gives you so much more of an insiteful high. i deffinitaly agree

i would suggest quitting for a month and then using every weekend it won't be as good as when you first started, but it is much better then being stoned for only 20min...my friend that used to smoke everyday wiht me does this now and gets much more stoned than me

Its kinda pointless to spend you cash on weed when it dosent do anything for you, try doing alot of drinking insted, or maby pick up some salvia or painkillers or something. but i think you should serously cut back on weed cuz you can be spending your cash on something else.

just sweat alot and piss alot and do something you would usually do to detox to get it out of our sys then get some one to tell you that the weed they have is awesome as shit cuz some of a tolerance is psycological

I had this problem, tolerance really does suck. I have been cutting down a lot on smoking, I used to smoke everysingle day, now I try to smoke for a couple days and take 3-7 day breaks, it is hard, but it gets a lot easier each day.
