Animals that get high?
I saw National Geographic channel yesturday and there was a bit about turtles. See there are some poison jellyfish whos only enemy is the sea turtle. And the sea turtles dont really need to eat the jellyfish because they have no nutrition at all. So the only reason why the turtles eat poison jellyfish is because it gives them a buzz and makes them intoxicated.
Also i have heard that there are wolves in north america that eat small amounts of magic mushrooms. What happens is that the mushrooms improve the wolves senses and help them to hunt. I thought it was pretty cool that not only people get high. Difference being that people create synthetic drugs and become junkies. Animals stick to the natural stuff and are fine. |
