cocaine paranoia, anxiety and withdrawals

I think a lot (too much really), hope nobody minds if I jabber a bit. This is on-topic, related to whatever degree of paranoia you might get from cola.

(1) If you're acting paranoid (closing doors & drawers super quietly, tiptoeing around, running water very lightly & briefly, etc) you're probably **more likely** to attract attention than if you were just acting normal, banging around, taking a loud shower, etc. Lots of people stay up late & make noise in the middle of the night. Just act normal. Blow your nose as loud as you want. Sniff loudly. Truly, nobody gives a fuck.

(2) Nobody gives a shit what you're doing. It's true... everyone lives their own little lives, your neighbors just don't care. Period. Nobody's paying any attention to you. Even the cops probably don't care what you're doing in the privacy of your home, as long as you do it discreetly & without disturbing anyone. Talking to yourself this way awhile is a good antidote to paranoia. And it's also true.

Just a few ruminations. Anyone else?

I agree, however if your smoking a joint you woulding wanna hit the joint while some on is lookinf dirrectly at you. There is a fine line between paranoia and being careful. You don't know if this hill bily beside be in his F-350 had a kid that was shot by a dope dealer and hates pot.But you must relize, are the copsgonne be called tochase down a University student that's smoking a joint? Maybe, maybenot. You wanna take thatrisk? I don't.

I try to not smoke in cars to be on the safe side. on the free way I can't help but smoke. But you just don't know, and growing is the best thing. Too bad coke seed don't last long and are hard to grow whereI live =)

As far as neighbors, that depends on your hood.A classy cookie cutter subdistrict thatforbids old beaten up cars to park in theirneigherhood. My girlfriend lives in on of the these. Their neighbor threaten to call thecops and lookout the widow/door and like 1-3 inthe mourning.

Point is be careful, not paranoid, that WILL get you caught. (sorry, i'm wired)

Oh.... NOW I get what you mean, ya. I try to be as quit as I can. Sniff it up as the tolite flushes. But yeah, your right, when you go to blow your nose or sniff up some excess, you can't help but feel like everyone around know what you're doing. But something I've learned andTRY to remember, only a pot head looks at an old guy smoking a wooden pipe and thinks he's smoking weed.. .if you get my drift..

What do you do when you start hearing sirens in your head. When you are sleeping next to someone and you think they are talking on a wireless earpiece everytime you close your eyes.

Sometimes paranoia is good thing. It keeps you safe. Going overboard is a sign of things getting out of control. Sometimes, just stop and think about what you are being paranoid about. Often you will come to your own conclusions on whether you are justified in your paranoia, and should take measures to reduce whatever it is bringing it on. Otherwise, let it go.

Your body is most likley going through withdrawls (sp?). Oxy's are an opiate and opiates are very addicting and hard to come off of. As for adderol, i believe it is semi addicting, but not as much so as Oxy's. Your body will begin to depend on them to function every day, and with out them your opiate receptors in your brain are not getting enough of the chemical to make you happy and functionable... my suggestion would be to start to cut down on your opiate use... how many pills and of what do u take a day now? just out of curiosity

Most likely the withdraws of being on the oxys. Are you around people when you get the anxiety? Try doing it by yourself and try to remain calm. It might just be social anxiety or parnioded anxiety. Try doing coke on a little booze. Not the best advice but it might take the anxiety away.

My advice would be to try to wein yourself off of what your on now. I'd start first with the oxy's for this will be the hardest. Some drugs to calm you down you could use is some pot and a beer or two. If you are realy freaking out then try to go to a doctor and have him perscribe u something.

Can honestly say i am never really worried that a cop is behind the corner of my house. I dont know if it is because my computer is in the window of my room and i see everyone drive down the street or near my house because i have a 400ft driveway? i dont think so, i'd lay off the Yip, or at least cut back. Sorry i cant help ya.

But the closest i can come is when i was selling last year i was always looking out the windows of the place i was staying and memorizing every car that was there, and i even had my boys go look into cars that looked at all odd (only one white van but it was construction). I did that every day lots of times. But i wasnt worried that they were at my door and about to kick it in.

Hell, the paranoia is all part of the fun.

I could swear there are at least three or four of those
sonsofbitches sneaking around inside of my house;
ready to kick the door open to catch me red-handed
just as soon as I take my next hit.Edited by: Woodman

The paranioa and general antsyness of coke is one of the several reasons i dont do it anymore, well maybe once in a blue moon. If the paranioa is greater than the euphoria then well i figured whats the sense of spending all this money anymore. I dont think there is a remedy for it so i just stopped doin it.

I totally understand about confronting your fears, but these guys will kill you first and then sorry I thought he had a gun. This drug law has gotten out of hand. At one time s we all know Coke cola hade it in it also candy and gum. This is not worth killing people for. What’s has happened to our world. I should be able to do what I what in my home.

How to control panic or anxiety when using cocaine?

Hi

As many of you know from reading from my posts, I'm very worried about my heart.

Here's the deal, I finally "know" all of my accelerated heart beats are caused by panic. I mean, besides that first time in which it DID made my heart go fast because of coke itself (I did 3 grams in 2 hours or less).

Later, when I ever even "think" about coke I start to panic a bit. And when I sniffed a tiny little bit of the powder left on the table after grinding it up well for storage, I had a bad time having panic, like feeling that I wasn't under control of my body, pulse, etc.

So, question is, how can I control this? My birthday is next friday and I'm planning to do some coke, not much, just some, like 4 lines or less. Problem is that I know I will get this panic shit (which is new, since before I didn't have this at all), maybe taking some pill or something? I've heard most people take Xanax after doing coke, but, problem is that I get panic before and during the coke effect, so, is there a safe way to control this? Any techniques? Breathing, etc?

Thanks

SWIM was doin it for a quite some time on and off and all the sudden out of nowhere the same thing happened to me, the only way to get out of it is to give it a break for a lil bit, ease back in slow, and don't trip yourself out before you do it. If your that worried about it sometimes it's just better off not to do it at all.

I think that's very good advice.

Often times I'll end up doing coke for days on end, and towards the end
I'll increasingly notice my heart beating faster than normal, which will
only cause me to worry, and check it constantly throughout the night...

A break will help both tolerance as well as your body's reaction to the
drug, and as mentioned, try not to think about it too much. There have
been times where I've done lots of coke, and then smoked weed during
the comedown, and worried myself into a full-blown panic attack, where
my heart is beating so hard and fast all I can do is lay down and try to
relax. Some breathing exercises also will help - try taking long, deep
breaths in through your nose, and out your mouth - deep breaths always
help slow heart rate.

Thanks for the advice!

Yep, I've been doing the long breaths for a while and it works clam down my heart rate (I've been practicing, not doing coke).

What do you guys think about this: When I got the speedy heart (from coke) I was eating a lot, smoking 3 packs of cigarrettes a day and doing NO exercise. That was a month and a half ago. NOW, I have stopped smking since last monday (5 days now), I'm on a diet from 3 weeks ago and I do 45 min walks everyday in the morning... Could I take coke? I mean, around 4 lines? I'm not asking for permission or anything, just to know if my heart could take it, I mean, I took 3 grams to get that tachycardia (and I was smoking and very fat and not exercising)... what do u think?

Durbans man ive been reading your posts since you got here and ive given you all the advice that i thought was best from my personal opinions and experiences. I feel for you man, living in a place with so much blow at such low $$, yet u have this medical thing goin on.

Now you have this panic thing happening, and u keep asking questions like is this to much? or is this ok? Dont get me wrong im not trying to be a dick here or anything, but at some point you gotta start trusting yourself and listen to what your body tells ya and make your own judgements. Im not surprised about your panic attacks cuz your starting to sound a little obsessive compulsive about medical stuff and your health.

So what do i think? I think coke isnt the drug for you man. You need something to mellow you out, slow ya down. Try finding some opium/morphine based stuff and see how ya feel then. That should take care of the panic attacks.

cheers
