how come adderall xr is euphoric but ir(instant release is not?

whenever swim uses xr he feels great, very talkitive, empathetic and just an all around good mood. if he takes the same amount of ir swim gets nothing but a 4 hour anxiety attack. why does this happen? xr feels great to swim,but ir is not the least bit euphoric.

Maybe swiy is getting too much drug at one time/ with the IR. If this is all one has and doesnt like the feeling break the pills apart and take it in parts every few hours instead of all at once.

so swim should split up the dosages to try to mimic the xr effect?

There really isn't a way to mimic the XR effect unless you had the capability to produce time release beads of some kind. Your best bet is to just stick with the XR tablets if you do not like the effects of IR.

SWIM is the other way around. He hates the XR because it lasts way too long. He much prefers the IR pills but if he takes the xr he will break it down into a semi instant release powder.
