Culture - Ketamine on the East vs West Coast of the US

Swim has been involved in various drug cultures around the East Coast, including large cities in the Northeast known for their drug use and smaller hippie communities, mostly inside universities, also known for their high drug use. Swim has yet to run across Ketamine, in fact he has yet to personally even meet someone who has tried it. Until a few weeks ago, while vacationing on he met a raver kid from Souther California who was telling him about how the big drugs tend to be acid, ecstasy and ketamine. None of the raves swim has been to either in the Northeast or Northwest ever had ket going around, so this seemed strange.

Swim wonders if ketamine is just something like meth, that is much more popular on the West than the East coast. The only reason swim could really think for this is because of the closer proximity to Mexico where it can be bought at a pharmacy.

Please in your responses try not to get to specific, I dont want this thread being closed down for violating sources. I simply am just curious as to where the Ketamine culture tends to geographically.

swim to has wondered this swim is also north east coast and has only heard of one friend who has tried it.

SWIM too has this problem. SWIM has only ever been able to get it from long drives to obscure locations or at festivals. It is absolutely his favorite drug and this is a problem needing answers!

Swim has also had trouble with this substance. Like, khrma said, it is only easy to find at festivals. BTW, I live in the northeast too

You must take into consideration that ketamine is usually stolen and not synthesized and distributed. Since it is not freely synthesized their is alot less of it. It can be found at most festivals on the east coast with a little bit of effort. Swims also seen it a good bit in philadelphia and NYC as well as many other east coast locations.

Swim also thinks that K dealers do not advertise or have to advertise as much. Ketamine is fairly addictive and a few "clients" would probably consume a good quanity without having to find other consumers. Also swim has seen alot of ketamine dealers who are unwilling to give up that much of their K because of their own personal habits coupled with the limited supplies.

But with most drugs, they are usually difficult to find unless swiy happens to be in a tight nit subculture were it is widely available. It all depends upon the people swiy stumbles across.

Anywhere where there's a vet, there's K. A lot of K is smuggled in from Mexico. In fact, most of the country's K is. This K isn't as strong feeling as that which is manufactured in Asia, specifically China and Korea.

SWIM has taken bumps of this mexican K and just felt a little fucked up, while SWIM has taken the same amount (the size of a pea) if Chinese K mailed in directly from China and has gone straight into a K hole for 2 hours.

SWIM (from northeast as well) was psychologically addicted to K and couldn't even
find it. He searched and searched but to no avail. K is impossible to find without
it being diverted from a vet in massachusetts anyway. He'd get laughed at for even asking at it(that's how rare it is here). He spent two years on a neverending search and only acquired it 3 times. each time it was ordered from a supplier.
