Help find article on canadian RC bust?
Heard mention in other threads about one or many RC suppliers in Canada getting shut down. Searched the forum and couldn't find news articles regarding these busts. Can anyone provide further info?

Thanks Chrisn, that's actually where I heard about it and was looking for more info. Thought the place would be shut down and no longer operational, and therefor no longer a real source, but SWIM wanted a news article rather than the name of a business or website anyway. Do we know if the US government was behind it, or the Canadian?

So that's what happened.

Back on 8/25 SWIM placed an order by creditcard with the maple leaf co. Last week SWIM got an email from a certain northern RC company's credit card processor (in Aus) that the account (meaning SWIM's, but probably initiated by some problem with the RC firm) had been suspended due to 'suspicious activity'. SWIM wasn't all that impressed with what was turning out to be a >1 month turnaround time, so maybe it saved SWIM having to have the charges reversed anyway.

mods: Is this vague enough, or does it fall under the "no sources discussion"?

This thread is actually referring to a different vendor, Deleterious. But yeah, this is probably treading to close to source discussion, best to leave it alone.
