Alcohol Vapors & Salvia Divinorum Tincture Use?
Alcohol Vapors for Salvia Divinorum Tincture Use?
Background: CO2 Sublimation in ethanol solution enables direct vascular absorption of inebriatory agents. Technique: Carbon Dioxide pellets when submerged in Ethanol-Water undergo rapid sublimation releasing gaseous mixture of aerosolized ethanol with the sublimated CO, acting as dispersion medium. Description: Subsequent inhalation results in diffusion across vascular membrane and direct up take of the ethanol. Caution: First half of inhalation normal air, second half with vapors. Prevents excessive CO inhalation. Translation: Put some dry ice in your alcoholic drink and sniff the vapors. ??????? Questions ??????? 1. Does anyone know how this would work with a plant tincture (Salvia Divinorum or others) that is alcohol based so instead of sublingual absorption there would be sinus membrane or lung absorption? 2. Some tinctures using alcohol base are really painful when held in the mouth (under the tongue) for any length of time. Has anyone tried this method to prevent the discomfort? 3. I have heard that the 'Green Dragon' was used as a suitable base for the alcohol vapor experiment. Has anyone tried this? Note: Caution: Handle with care.... Solid Carbon Dioxide (Dry Ice) is at approximately -80 degrees centigrade. The Quid method doesn't require a temperature differential to transfer the active ingredients of S.D. to the blood stream. Salivating and direct sublingual contact (under tongue and back of throat) with leaf materials effects transfer of Salvinorin A. Using the Quid method of a tinctured solution (alcohol being the Salvinorin A carrier) it would seem that the alcohol vapor using the dry ice would also provide a carrier for the alcohol/Salvinorin A solution. Comments/Opinions would be appreciated. Being health conscious and nonsmoker I am looking for alternative methods (at least in theory/SWIM reality) of S.D. usage. |

Re: Alcohol Vapors & Salvia Divinorum Tincture Use?
Well, swim once saw a video on people trying to get drunk from using dry ice with alcohol and they said it worked....but they cheated (the guy took a swib of hard liquor before going on with the breathalizer).
SWIM has talked to people about it including people who tried it and they said it didn't work...maybe a little...but relatively pointless. So by using it with salvia tincture..what would be the point? It'd be the same as smoking and the effects would be crappier. SWIM highly does NOT recommend it. Sal-A |
