I am touring the Balkan and would appreciate a heads up on parties on the coast of Croatia in the coming week. Let me know.

Alfa, it would be great if we had a separate forum about events going on in various parts of the world. I've seen several other people make this suggestion also. I do recognize that there are some potential downsides to having such a forum though...

I have returned from the Balkan.

Events going on in various parts of the world can be posted in this forum and if they are posted in the calendar as well then they appear on the main page two weeks in advance. I hope that some day the events part of this forum will grow out to justify a separate forum.

If there are people who would like to put energy into adding information & announcements about parties and events, then that would be very welcome. If the events part of this forum grows to mature proportions, then I will put energy into this as well and look into adding extra functions and features for it.

Having a separate events forum would probably encourage more posts about events. Just a thought...
