Re: Question regarding spice highs
Well currently Swim is thinking about trying parsely or dill and will definatly try saffron. If Swiy knows of any others that might be phsycoactive let me know. Swim hates nutmeg though.

Re: Question regarding spice highs
Well if you're refering to the herbal smoke blend "Spice" then yes it can be eaten. However this is not something I recomend, There are rumors that Spice contains Cystine. Cystine can be deadly in small doses SWIM told me.

No thats not what I Was referring to. Swim was talking about the phsycoactivity of household spices essential oils. spices such as sage, dill, parsely, saffron and more are said to have certain phsycoactive effects. Swim is curious and Is thinking about giving this a shot.
Swim has Ingested a good amount of saffron, not sure the exact dose. He is supprised that he is actually starting to feel some effects as he did not think this would work. Swim isnt feeling anything really strong yet but I Can feel its just starting. Swim is noticing chills all over his body, a slight heavy headed feeling, and some distortions in his peripheral vision. Swim also notices some mild stimulation and slight euphoria. its impossible for him to keep his eyes closed. Last edited by Bajeda; 24-08-2007 at 04:58. Reason: merged |

Re: Question regarding spice highs
As far as I know parsley, sage and dill don't contain any strongly psychoactive compounds... nutmeg definately does (the deliriant myristicin) and saffron contains a lot of weird compounds with potential medicinal uses... though it's probably not the most useful thing in the world for exploration of the mind. I don't think you'll find many extraction teks for these sorts of things on forums for drug science in general because few people are trying to squeeze a trip out of something like parsley... though I applaud your curiosity in trying to extract from such eclectic sources.

Re: Question regarding spice highs
Saffron has been compared to smaller doses of methylone and other empathogens by some people, there are a few discussions around. Quality is supposedly the biggest factor, it is difficult to get higher qualities and it degrades quickly if not stored properly.

Re: Question regarding spice highs
Swim definatly had some phsycoactive effects from saffron. Mild but Still there. Swim is just curious about it after reading about essential oils on this forum.

Re: Question regarding spice highs
The essential oils are too dangerous to ingest. Nutmeg or Saffafras oils can be rubbed onto your legs, behind your knees. If you go to a club and start dancing this will absorb and provide stimulation and empathy, but it only works while you keep moving / sweating.
