smoking withdrawal/side effects

I'm not really a smoker, except for occasional cigars usually with alcohol, but lately ive been smoking mini cigars with a friend, and we've both been getting bad stomach pain and terrible headaches. Could this be from the cigars? We have only been smoking these for less than a week, not even everyday, but i know cigars have way more nicotine than cigarettes, could these be side effects or withdrawl effects, i would assume it something else, but 2 people with identical symptoms at different times, and the same times...
