Janitor Claims Co-Workers Topped His Pizza With LSD

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- A Fair Lawn school custodian is alleging in a lawsuit that his co-workers laced his pizza with the hallucinogen LSD in an attempt to poison him at an office party in 2005.

Dominick A. Rao, a janitor with the district since 2000, was served pizza out of a different box than the other custodians, his attorney, Richard Mazawey, told the Record of Bergen County for Monday editions. "

He said he felt like his body and system were melting from the inside out, like he was living in a kaleidoscope," Mazawey told the newspaper.

Soon after, Rao went to an emergency room at an area hospital where it was found that he "had a controlled dangerous substance running through his bloodstream," Mazawey said.

Rao said he has extremely poor vision due to bilateral ocular albinism, a condition that causes his eyes to lack pigment. Because of this, he said he was often bullied by his supervisor and co-workers.

When Rao returned to work after the alleged incident, a co-worker asked him, "How are you still alive," the suit says.

"Upon hearing this, he realized how extensive the plot to poison him truly was," the suit says.

Schools Superintendent Bruce Watson declined to comment on the suit, which was filed in Superior Court in Hackensack, saying he had not received a copy.

Rao filed a police report more than a year after the alleged incident but no criminal charges have been brought against the defendants.

While it wouldn't have poisoned his body, it could have really messed him up in the head. I've heard stories of people who took too much acid and are messed up- one person thinks they're an orange, another thinks they're a glass of milk and everyone is trying to spill them.

While it's true that LSD is not to be taken lightly, and that high doses may cause serious lasting effects, one should also be careful of listening to anti-drug propaganda that may be entirely false. The orange is a friend of a friend from college. He went to highschool with my friend. He supposedly was trying to sneak a whole sheet or 2 of acid into a concert, started sweating, and absorbed all the acid while waiting in line to get in.

It's a good friend, who loves psychoactive, but is horribly afraid of acid because of what happened to his 'friend'. I trust the guy, as he has always been straight-forward (except the time he was swearing that everclear was just a strong vodka).

Warning to parents on drug-laced fake tattoos

CARLOW parents were horrified to learn this week about the availability of tattoos laced with LSD being sold to schoolchildren.
The Nationalist has learned that a letter containing information regarding a form of a tattoo called The Blue Star has been circulated in the town, warning parents that LSD can be absorbed through the skin simply by handling this illegal tattoo.

The letter describes this “fake” tattoo as a small sheet of paper containing blue stars, each star soaked in LSD.

It also warns parents of other brightly coloured tabs with pictures of clowns, Bart Simpson, Superman, Mickey Mouse and other Disney characters wrapped in foil.

The letter claims that attracting young children has become a new way of selling acid and a child could unwittingly come across these and experience “a fatal trip”.

The letter warns parents that if their child gets hold of the tabs, they are “not to handle them under any circumstances, as they are known to react quickly”.

The origins of the letter are unknown but The Nationalist has learned that a copy of the letter was submitted to Bishop Foley NS by a concerned parent.

Bishop Foley NS made the decision that parents should be informed of the availability of this tattoo and in turn circulated a copy of the letter to parents prior to the Easter holidays.

The principal of Bishop Foley NS, Pat Bulfin, confirmed that the school had circulated a copy of the original letter to parents.

“A concerned parent gave me a copy of the letter and rather than be informed of something like that and do nothing about it, we made the decision to sent a copy of it to parents,” Mr Bulfin stated.

Mr Bulfin admitted he was unclear about the origins of the letter but still felt it was in parents’ interest to be aware.

It is understood the Carlow Gardaí were made aware of the allegations contained in this letter.

Copies of the letter were submitted to Carlow Garda Station by two school principals anxious that the matter be fully investigated.

A garda spokesperson could not confirm to The Nationalist whether this Blue Star tattoo is available in Carlow or indeed if the letter’s contents could be viewed as a genuine warning for parents.

Whats with the hating on the victim? If the hospital found a psychotropic substance in his blood what else proof do you need, unless you suspect him of having dosed himself?

Just because some media coverage puts drugs in a bad light doesn't necessarily mean that it's all lies. I think that dosing someone against their will is a nasty thing to do and should be taken seriously.
